So is that "confirmation" of Williams to SC or did Dart just like Miss better? Interesting that BYU can't land him (again). I guess the Y isn't what it used to be for QB's.

I mean if I were Dart I wouldn't be too keen on playing for a HC that tried to recruit over me with another QB from my recruiting class. And it's not like Lane hasn't done good work with QBs over the years.

IDK. Seems CW is flirting with Wisky to force USC into a more beneficial package. Can’t imagine CW is serious about Wisky considering what Coan had to say about his development.

Paul Chryst can hammer that he was Russell Wilson's OC/QB coach (and probably has WIlson putting in a good word to Williams....), and Bobby Engram can sell CW on developing him in an NFL style offense, as well as being a family friend and father of a former HS teammate. It's really not that much of a stretch.

I think you are on to something. Same thing crossed my mind with a few recruits. Start sniffing around other schools and see if you can use it to get a better NIL deal from the school you are really wanting.

There’s also some rumored worry of if USCs offensive line is not good Caleb will have to run more than what they want to. Russell Wilson not Jalen Hurts to lazily sum it up.

If true, then I would suspect there is also a worry that wisconsin is a school and program, with a coaching staff, WR's, and other players, that aren't conducive to his success either.

Definitely true. There’s an issue with anyone courting CW, which is why they are courting a QB. Bama, OSU etc the perfect situations don’t call. Even Georgia chose sticking with Bennett and Vandagriff over pursing CW.

I doubt it happens but I think Sevyn Banks from OSU actually would make sense to pursue. He should be a grad transfer and he was good in 2020 opposite a bad Shaun Wade. No idea what happened between being injured (“injured”?) and somewhat passed by underclassmen this past year. I’d be rather confident if he was healthy him and Lewis could have a healthy competition that he wins. I’d guess back home at UF/FSU/Miami/UCF or to UC with Coombs, but given Washington is on staff you got at least someone to vouch or not for him.

A traffic cone has a 50/50 shot against Lewis.

That was an April Fool’s joke by an Alabama blogger in a crappy article.
I was actually thinking that but was not sure since it was posted this morning on one of my feeds………but you‘re absolutely right, I should have read it to the end. Thanks for setting me straight!

Should be a grad transfer and Cornell offer out of HS. Big kid that’s battled injuries.

Injury prone Wilkins, injury prone Chapman, and sophomore Colzie and Thomas could probably produce a solid outside starting WR

Am I the only one who finds the #GigEm hilarious in this context?
