I was tipped off on this earlier this afternoon. I was sitting on information that 99% of the world did not know about. I was going to sit on it, but our start up Notre Dame podcast needs this big break.

I have not been this pumped about Irish football since 2012. And I’m not a Kelly hater by any stretch! I just love the idea of these two young coaching stars who have been tearing it up at the whiteboard and on the recruiting trail getting a chance to take the helm at ND. Great news. The only thing that worries me is it is a very inexperienced offense staff with Rees at OC and Freeman at HC. Taylor staying adds some experience.

Those who have wanted ND to have that cool/swag factor while maintaining it's North Star bearing, it's happening. This is a young, exciting, aggressive staff that may take recruiting to another level and the game plans will be aggressive.

Yeah, he'll offer input on what he's seeing and have the chance to override but now he steps into more oversight on the whole thing. Needs to be attending to all of the game situations/deteails.
