So nothing has really changed for us. Still need 2 of these to happen:
UGA stomps Bama
2 loss Big 12 champ
2 loss big 10 champ (Iowa)
Cincy loss.

It feels like a long shot but still a shot.

I'd give anything to see last year's team in this year's playoff.
No Bama (probably), Clemson, or OSU.

scUM going to get into one of the easiest CFPs and talk about how good they are….F*ck scUM

Worst part is we have no room to talk because we lost to Cincy. Yes obviously we’re a better team now, especially on the OLine, but that won’t change the narrative.

2 loss big ten doesn’t matter. UGA beating bama is the biggest thing. If Oklahoma beats ok st this week i wouldn’t bet them to beat them next week and even if they do they are ranked 10. Idk if they can jump 6 spots in 2 weeks but idk maybe. Cincy loss is possible and I think we would def jump them

scUM beat the brakes off #2 OSU today, who was riding a wave of momentum and quickly becoming the only legit threat to Georgia. They can say whatever they want.

Their win today is more impressive than any Kelly has had here, just saying. Not a knock on Kelly, just a testament to the fact they stood toe to toe with a legit playoff team and spanked them. We havent done that.

Whoever wins Bedlam losing, Bama losing, Michigan losing and Cinci losing is goal of championship weekend.

Don’t need all to get in but more the better if it gives the outside shot of being the 3 instead of 4

You can't lose to the best team on your schedule, bottom line. No reason we shouldn't be 12-0, but here we are.

IDK. Ohio St lost, so now we are 5. Bama loses next week so we are 4. ND hasn't done anything to drop.

But with the week off we have to look at who can jump us... that's where the big 12 comes in. Okst moves to 6 now. Beat Baylor, does that do enough as conf champ to jump idle ND?

OKST didn't really do anything today to look like one of the four best teams, so they'll really have to throttle Baylor to justify pushing past ND.

Doubtful. Been discussed a few times but they'll have ND beat on every metric that matters, strength of schedule, quality wins and maybe game control.

Committee never seems to make their rankings based on the metrics though. Otherwise wouldn't OKST be above ND already? I'd say game control (aka the eye test, a subjective measurement) is the kicker.

True, but arguably Oklahoma State is doing enough to “jump”

Maybe, and I really hop I am right, but it seems to me that if they were going to jump ND it would have been a couple if weeks ago when they wrecked TCU and we looked ok vs Virginia. Since then ND has only looked better.

Both Jesse and that other guy had us outside their top 5. Not 4, but 5.

Stupid is what stupid does. Both ignorant folk had Bama in…one, step back, at two.

I mean if OKS jumps us, then so be it. But they haven’t watching. While they give up points, everyone seems to forget, we are not.

At this point...

Georgia wins, UM wins, Cinci wins, ND SHOULD be the #4 team.

But I’m a big Georgia, Iowa, Houston, and Baylor fan next weekend just for good measure

agreed...but I could see the Coaches leaving Bama at 4...they've done crazier things

I know we've all talked about it KH will come back if we make the playoffs. I think he will.

But what about Blake? Does he come back? Would it even be wise to play him?

Err they beat the #10 ranked team.

By name only--nobody has liked Oklahoma the whole year, particularly the committee. 2 spots behind a 2-loss Baylor says a lot. It's not going to move the needle unless OKST beats Aranda, and soundly.

For sure KH will play in a play off.
Just not sure about BF. I suppose if he is 100% give him a run.
