I think Kiffen to Miami is a great fit. It fits his lifestyle, he can recruit Florida, and it would be much easier to win the ACC than banging his head up against the wall in the SEC. And it would be super entertaining.
LSU is gonna be stuck with Bill O'Brien aren't they?

Aranda just inked a new deal with Baylor.
He's supposedly their top choice if they can't get Jimbo... and they aren't going to get Jimbo. I think there's some fighting going on between various camps in the LSU family, with each of them pushing for different choices as HC, much like what happened at Auburn last year. Instead of making a homerun hire, they're gonna end up making a mediocre compromise hire. As a Bama fan, I'd LOVE for them to hire O'Brien. Kills two birds with one stone.

Doesn’t Saban want his coordinator rehabilitation program to last at least 2 years? Burning a Saban bridge would be a bold move
I don’t see Kiffin or any real name going to Miami unless there is more than talk to the spending ability, or lack thereof
"The University of Miami is finally willing to allocate the necessary funding that it takes to compete at a high level in modern college football.
According to Miami Hurricanes insider Mike Ryan Ruiz of the Dan Le Batard Show, the UM administration is willing to commit $20-30M more to Miami’s annual football budget."
"Miami’s U-Health system in South Florida has been quite profitable over the past two years, reportedly making a profit of more than $400M in each of those fiscal years. Frenk is now willing to provide the some of the money that comes into the university to the football program. "
Nothing official I can find. Just that Baylor is working on getting an extension done in the next few weeks.
Lincoln Riley to LSU
Source? Not seeing it confirmed anywhere.
Didn’t see anything today but I’ve been on the tea leaves show Riley train
The lack of extension?
Seems to be this guy who started it?

no idea who he is. Haven’t seen any of the big reporters say it.
I don't want want to ever hear the 'coaches don't make lateral moves' or 'why would he leave to come here' excuse again when it comes to future coaching searches.
Who has made a lateral move?
If Lincoln Riley goes to LSU, that's about as lateral as you can get. Oklahoma is even the better historical program.
LSU will likely be paying more, is a better recruiting job, and the last three HCs won national championships. 3 since OU did. Not lateral.
