I think it’s Kentucky in the lead but can’t say I’ve been paying much attention.

Some time ago I remember reading something about recruiting, the Big Ten, and Notre Dame. Woody Hayes, then head coach at tOSU, was visiting an unnamed recruit in KY who told the coach that he had eliminated the Buckeyes and was down to ND and NY. Hayes looked at the kid squarely in the eyes and said something to the effect of, "Son, if it's between those two, go to Notre Dame."

Different times.

According to Rivals he has a phone call with ND coaches tonight. I would guess it’s a call to let them know where he is going (most likely not ND).
But we should at least know later what is going on.

He has a brother on staff at Kentucky.

I think that's the case.

And if it is, Quinn better hope that Schrauth is a lock. I don't think he can or should survive this kind of inconsistency on the trail, while also being inconsistent on the field.

No he is not. But also I have more concerns than I used to over undersized Offensive Lineman making it in our system. This one not only needs weight but his frame just does not look like an offensive lineman I have seen be successful here. He really looks like a mike linebacker from 10+ years ago or an undersized/quick first step 3 tech.

There’s absolutely no way he’s ever going to be big enough to play effectively in the SEC. Even with pharmaceutical assistance, his frane won’t allow it.

UK seems likely but if there's a surprise, PSU seems to be in the best position to pull it off.

Ohio state and Notre Dame staff have been able multiple times to thoroughly look him over and evaluate. Maybe he is a take for both but neither seem to have pushed for him with any vigor. If O-line is his future he really needs to find a serious spread offense that has guards running in space and that is also assume he has better than average speed because he is lean. Our offense certainly can and has used faster guards but has consistently been more successful with big strong mauler guards. All of our best guards were basically right tackle sized humans.

Also conversely we have kind of struggled with smaller guards like Zeke, way back with Golic and two we had to kind of make big like Hegarty and the one from Michigan who instead of nfl went to work as a staffer in congress.
