These are The Who’s who of shitty offenses. Get ready for GA to blow it against Bama yet again.Clemson
UAB
South Carolina
Vanderbilt
Arkansas
Auburn
Kentucky
That's Georgia's slate so far.
Florida
Missouri
Tennessee
Charleston Southern
Georgia Tech
That's who they have left.
This is not an inspiring schedule but they're dominating it as they should.
Georgia is the only team in the country that hasn't given up 100 points against yet. So far they've given up 47.
They're legit.
Who you plays matters too... not having to go all over the country and kill yourself to get to a title game is a huge bonus... one that often goes overlooked when coming from their neck of the woods.

I mean Arkansas, UK, South Carolina, Clemson, Auburn, aren't FCS teams. That schedule isn't significantly soft enough to explain away them being over 50% better than the next closest team.
UC are frauds. If we played them 10 times we win 7-8/10.
We played the worst game of our season. Had how many unforced errors? Had an oline that had no idea what they were doing. Yet still made a game of it.
The team that beat SC Saturday beats Cincy easily. As do the rest of the top 10.
I agree UC is unworthy also, but it’s highly unlikely they lose again. They’re a lock whether they deserve it or not. We lost any realistic chance of a playoff run when we dropped that game to them.
There is virtually no chance of ND making the playoffs because the schedule does not have any marquee games on it this year. A 2-loss conference champ will likely get in over ND, as will Cincinnati.
Basically, what we're headed towards is either:
1. Georgia or SEC Champ Bama
2. Whoever wins the Big Ten
3. Oklahoma
4. SEC Runner Up Georgia OR ACC Champ OR PAC12 Champ OR Cinci
A 1 loss ND is at best going to be ~8th in the pecking order. With total chaos, maybe 5th or 6th. But they have no ability to leapfrog Cinnci.
1. Yes, most likely UGA
2. B1G, most likely OSU
3. I think OU loses a game or 2, they still have to play @Baylor, ISU, @Bedlam. Hell, they could lose 2 of those 3. Not to mention out of OU/OSU/Baylor the top two will play again for the B12 CG.
4. Bama is the wildcard here, they actually are starting to backslide, yes they beat Tenn but that game was WAYYY closer than the score indicates. I think that Auburn game could get very spicy
While I do not think ND is playoff worthy, if UGA, OSU run the table, that would knock out Bama, second B1G team. That's two spots in a chaotic year so who knows. I think it's definitely possible if ND wins out and a few breaks go their way.
- I think Oregon loses 1 more game.
- The Cincinati/ SMU game is looking rather tasty (Nov 20th I think). those two will play again for the AAC CG. I think Cincinnati may buckle under the pressure there.
- B12 knock each other out.
- B1G- I think Penn St, MSU, UM all have one lost to each other.
- ND is one of the best looking ($$$$) 1 lose teams remaining.

The problem is how long is this post and you still omitted a TON that would need to happen. The ACC would need to still bottom out still. Big 12 knock each other out is easier said then spelled out. With a hurt Clifford the Big Ten cannibalism is significantly less likely. Ole Miss would have to lose again. Kentucky would have to lose again. “well those are gonna happen”. If Ole Miss wins this weekend they will be favored in every game down the stretch. Kentucky will be favored in every game down the stretch. The SEC will not be denied 2 teams, especially in a year that Clemson is out. Not to mention Corral will be in a Heisman campaign. So the few breaks are actually a few more breaks and this becomes really just getting lost in the details and not seeing how deep we are. 2 SEC, 1 B1G, 1 Big 12. It’s gonna happen that way.
I’d be perfectly happy winning out but missing the playoff and getting a winnable BCS bowl matchup. I’d like to get that major bowl win monkey off NDs back.
And no one will remember or care about that game by the start of the next season.
Make the playoffs and give it a puncher's chance.
And making a NY6 bowl game doesn’t insure we get a win. Rather lose a playoff than a bowl game. Go big or go home. We are peaking and should continue to get better. A better version of this team competes with most teams.
I don’t understand people not wanting us in the playoffs but wanting a NY6 bowl. The top teams make the CFP AND the NY6 balls. If you think we’re going to get blown out in the CFP, then you might as well assume we’re going to get blown out in the NY6 so don’t wish for that either. I’m all in on hoping we make the CFP
Georgia, Cincinnati, and Oklahoma are very likely to get in at this point. If Bama wins out, they are in too.
We need:
-UGA to beat Bama in the SEC championship game
-Sparty to split with OSU and Penn St, or lose the B10 if they get in especially if it's vs Wisconsin.
-OSU to lose one more game (Sparty, Wolverines, B10 Championship game)
-Oregon to drop a game or jump them in the polls. Our 1 loss is a lot better one than theirs.
The odds are not looking good. I have a feeling the B10 champ will either be undefeated or a one loss Buckeye.
There is only one dominant team this year and it is Georgia. We sneak into the CFP as #4 we get matched with Georgia and get destroyed. Everyone else we at least have a chance.
