After seeing the FSU ending I’m not sure which 2-0 start feels more imposter-ish,… My Irish or my UTEP Miners,….. I’m not having good vibes here

FSU’s RB Corbin was averaging 7 YPC in a game they were winning and they only have him 15 carries?

That ending was stunning. The DB play on it was shameful. Poor coverage, poor execution, poor tackling, and poor effort.

Uhh...didn't Boise kill UTEP 54-13?

EDIT: now realizing this is just your fantasy land.

Not sure why I like Texas sucking so much, but I do.

FREEZING COLD TAKES:

- You are free to watch the misery that will be Pitt/Tenn on ESPN, but I choose to watch Michael Mayer's older brother play QB against PJ Fleck and the Gophers instead.

Whoops. Brett Gabbert finally returned from injury for the Redhawks and got his job back. The Redhawks made it interesting, and had a chance late, but Gabbert threw an INT.

- UPSET ALERT: I'm putting PSU on upset alert

DAMN I'M GOOD:

- Go Irish. Get that defense ironed out. Beware a VERY experienced Toledo team hanging around. Get the WR's involved early and often, opening things up for Mayer and the RB's later.

Gonna ignore the parts about the WR's, and pat myself on the back for the warning about an experienced Toledo team. I didn't get to watch the game, but it looks like they weren't phased by the environment and were totally comfortable with things getting weird. Good thing ND was cool with it, too.

- Everyone appears to be jumping onto the "TEXAS IS BACK" train very quickly. A lot of faith in Sark's makeover. We'll see how they handle an Arkansas team that might be kind of stubborn.

And by 'kind of stubborn,' I meant "STUBBORN IN THEIR INTENT TO JUST KEEP RUNNING THE BALL DOWN TEXAS' THROAT"

- Night cap; Scout two future opponents; it would be a perfect summation of both Shaw AND Helton if Shaw gets his shitty team to upset USC, taking some shine off the victory when ND beats USC in late October.
