January 6th will be America's Beer Hall Putsch.

I have my passport renewed and got one for all three of my kids. Doesn't seem like anyone cares about what's happening and it's beyond concerning for me at this point.

tenor.gif

You guys and the bloody, bloody January 6th "insurrection." A violent take over where the opposing side never fired a shot, and left when the National Guard asked them to leave. How will we ever recover? Again, here are your radical poster boys the media plastered the photos of everywhere as they work with police and stress to the others to remain peaceful.

[TWEET]https://twitter.com/LHatesYouALot/status/1394129838034804738[/TWEET]

These are guys that clearly aren't operating off any kind of plans, and they're hardly being violent. Had there been a real "insurrection" the guard would have quelled it quickly, but there was no need to. The whole protest lasted a matter of hours and Congress reconvened the very same night to finalize the vote. I'll stress again that I don't condone those that broke into the Capitol, it should have never happened, but to paint these guys as radical and violent anarchists that nearly subverted democracy...it's quite a stretch.

Problem #1:

The ideologs that run the far left and right are both cheating, lying, criminals whose goal is the promotion of political ideologies in direct conflict with America's best interest. Moderates need to put down their pom poms and quit cheering on the Communists, Fascist & Socialists posing as Democrats and Republicans.

97.5% of Americans have basically zero knowledge of how a sovereign state, it's governmental institutions, the political parties and the political ideologies interact with & influence one another. And 90% of those that do, know just enough to be dangerous.

This is the damn truth right here. The extremists have stirred the pot, and now neither side can really work together.

Only one side cannot work with the other;.....If your position is to tie morality to your worldview, then its baked into the cake when someone disagrees with you - that the other person has to be immoral, and therefore needs to be silenced/cancelled/banned. If you are not a proponent of the 'For the People Act"...then you must be against the people.

There is a political/social impasse in this country.

Meh.... if it weren’t for a few people in positions of some authority who did the right thing during and after the election and didn’t bow down to the pressure... Pence included, Trump could have been handed the presidency even though Joe really won, simply because they could have ignored the norms and said fuck it.

Yeah there isn't really a fantasy world where that happens.

When you talk like this you are only a baby step above the very same idiots you decry as being insane individuals.

Donald Trump lost the election. There was no formality that was going to re-install him as POTUS.

told you. 100% committed. Total Delusional. Scary shit

Cack, you are the Chicken Little in this scenario. We're not some 3rd world country that is constantly teetering towards anarchy or a totalitarian regime. We have the world's most powerful military. We have police, the reserves, we have chains of command should the President fall. The entire thing was over when the Guard stepped in, and the protesters left without a fight. You would have us believe that democracy nearly died when not one shot was fired. Who is the delusional one?

I want to say to the American people the United States Senate will not be intimidated. We will not be kept out of this chamber by thugs, mobs or threats. We will not bow to lawlessness or intimidation. We are back at our posts. We will discharge our duty under the Constitution and for our nation. And we're going to do it tonight.

This afternoon, Congress began the process of honoring the will of the American people and counting the Electoral College votes. We have fulfilled the solemn duty every four years for more than two centuries. Whether our nation has been at war or at peace, under all manner of threats, even during an ongoing armed rebellion and the Civil War, the clockwork of our democracy has carried on.

The United States and the United States Congress have faced down much greater threats than the unhinged crowd we saw today. We've never been deterred before, and we will not be deterred today. They tried to disrupt our democracy. They failed. They failed. They failed to attempt to obstruct the Congress.

This failed insurrection only underscores how crucial the task before us is for our republic. Our nation was founded precisely so that the free choice of the American people is what shapes our self-government and determines the destiny of our nation – not fear, not force, but the peaceful expression of the popular will.

Now, we assembled this afternoon to count our citizens' votes and to formalize their choice of the next president. Now we're going to finish exactly what we started. We'll complete the process the right way by the book. We'll follow our precedents, our laws and our Constitution to the letter. And we will certify the winner of the 2020 presidential election. Criminal behavior will never dominate the United States Congress. This institution is resilient. Our democratic republic is strong. -Mitch McConnell.
It’s just sad. People who have bought in to the Big Lie make me sad. Nothing is gonna reach them. Mitch said this then torpedoed a commission to investigate what he called a failed insurrection.

Yes, Mitch said that...from the very Capitol that had protesters within it only hours earlier. It's understandable given the circumstances when a big event has occurred that emotions are high and nobody knew what was going on. He also said Congress have faced down much greater threats than the unhinged crowd, and that is certainly true too.

What do you really think will be gained by commissioning an investigation at this point almost half a year later? Shall we wait a few years again for Mueller to interview all the boomers that were taking selfies on the Capitol steps? Are they going to bring to light a devious plot devised by a mastermind? I think we know everything there is worth knowing at this point, anything more is a further waste of tax dollars. These idiots had no plans once they were inside, a coordinated assault it was not. There was no massive battalion of heavily armed individuals rampaging and killing their way to the Senate chambers. Had the protesters really tried to do anything heinous one squad of Marines could have cleared the building in less than an hour, but they didn't...it never came close to that, they all left without a fight when the Guard told them to leave. The commission is nothing more than political leverage, it will drag on and the findings would likely be released sometime around say...2022 general election.

I don't buy into the "Big Lie." I do think measures to secure our future elections are a good idea as we now know Russia, China, and Iran all tried to influence and interfere in the last election even if it was indirectly. It's only a matter of time before these countries try more direct means. Every American should be for securing our elections to the best of our abilities, and anyone who fights processes to make sure the elections are fair and accurate is a red flag. If there's nothing to hide, there's absolutely no reason we shouldn't take every measure necessary to ensure safeguards are in place.

  1. a violent uprising against an authority or government.

According to the FBI who has now made over 500 arrests, violent crimes were committed and there were many armed individuals, planted explosive bombs, multiple cars were discoverd full of guns and weapons, they even used makeshift weapons. And yes by all accounts what ooccured is best described as an insurrection. But if you ACTUALLY THINK the limited number of LEOs present were in any way capable of searching and identifying ALL weapons carried by ALL the people that day then you I cant help you with that. It was violent and if you think it wasnt then you are living on another planet and I pity your ability to comprehend what happened The fact Ulks thinks his 1 video of a group of people being turned around debunks all the actions taken by alll the other people getting into the Capital and ALL th eviolent they committed doing so is pathetic. Its shit compared to all the video out here of people committing violence against LEOs to get in the Capital. Its sad I have to continue to fight back against all this bullshit proproganda from so called conservatives who are toatlly committed to downplaying what happeend and the legit threat to our democracy. So this will be my last post on the matter. To say it wasnt violent is PROPAGANDA. To say people didnt know what they were doing or it wasnt organized is PROPAGANDA.

DOJs list of current cases agaisnt arrested individuals.

FBI videos of violence agaisnt LEOs

Fourteen people tied to the Jan. 6 attack are facing federal charges related to bringing or using dangerous weapons inside the building and two are facing firearms-related charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.

NBC News reported that within a week after the attack a dozen guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition had been found on seven people arrested before and after the Capitol riot.

Cleveland Grover Meredith, drove to Washington from Colorado with an assault-style Tavor X95 rifle with a telescopic sight, a Glock 9 mm with high-capacity magazines and more than 2,500 rounds of ammunition, including at least 320 rounds of armor-piercing bullets, NBC reported. Reuters said Meredith texted "War time" after hearing Vice President Mike Pence would count electoral votes from states Trump lost.

In the trunk of Lonnie Coffman’s vehicle, police found an AR-15-style rifle, a shotgun, a crossbow, several machetes, smoke grenades and 11 Molotov cocktails, Reuters reported. Another man, Christopher Alberts of Maryland, was stopped as he left the Capitol grounds after a police officer spotted a loaded handgun on his hip.

Many more people armed themselves by more unorthodox means, causing damage and injury.

Robert Sanford, 55, of Pennsylvania, was allegedly caught on video throwing a fire extinguisher at a group of police officers. David Blair, 26, was seen hitting officers with a lacrosse stick, NBC said. Others had pepper spray, brass knuckles, a pipe and pocket knives, and one man was carrying a "stinger whip," a tool with blunt and whip-like edges marketed for self-defense and escaping a locked vehicle.

One rioter was caught on video beating a police officer with a flagpole bearing an American flag, NBC Washington reported. The New York Times reviewed video that showed people using stolen police shields, sticks and crutches as weapons.

And the man photographed with his feet on the desk of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was carrying a 950,000-volt stun gun walking stick, House impeachment manager Stacey Plaskett revealed Feb. 10.

Not to mention pipe bombs were found near the Capitol at Republican and Democratic party headquarters.

Here is a list and description of at least 516 people arrested by FBI and their charges. Knowingly engaging in violence is a charge in nearly all of them.

Pipe Bomber per FBI is still out there

Everyone who is guilty of crime may they be arrested and charged to the fullest extent. Including all of the antifa a-holios in portland and everywhere else that antifa 'doesnt' exist. its easy to spot antifa peeps, its a bunch of guys dressed up like females, half-shaved heads, blue-pink-red-green hair, yelling at black cops calling them race-traitors, all spewing the same rhetoric because their cancel-culture doesnt allow them to have their own thoughts. Basically, its the white liberals that Malcolm X tried to warn everyone about, lol.

thankfully you spent all that time putting that post together, it really made a huge difference; or at least it made you feel good.

It didnt make me feel any beeter nor was it intended to. It makes me sad because the misinformation being spread in this thread is sad.I provided a link to 500+ people already arrested for violence and weapon charges. I provided mutliple videos by the FBI showing the violence. I provided multiple videos of the violence caught on camera. The photos are of approximately 500 out of a total of 1200 on th FBI website where they are looking to arrest these people for assaulting LEOs. People claimed it wasnt violent. I gave you the people arressted and charged with cviolent acts, posession of weapons plus a small portion of the people the FBI still wants to identify and charge. Its not a handful. Its thousands. They committed violent acts agianst our LEOs but you seem totally ok with that since you summarrily dissmissed them. Classic

speaking of misinformation....

black lives matter ....while not doing anything for 'black lives'
Antifa ....while exhibiting and using fascistic methods and policies
Weak a mask, dont wear a mask, wear 2 masks, wear a mask even if you have the COVID-19 EUA. Now apparently masks never really worked at all.
Saying 'Lab-leak' got you called a racist, xenophobe, posts deleted, accounts banned.....now its a plausible theory.
Removing masks mandate was Neanderthal thinking....Hello Texas!
Trump had ppl 'gassed' so he could get a photo op with a Bible.....proved false
Trump ignored Russian bounties on america troops.....proved false
Trump called soldiers 'suckers' .....proved false
There will not be a vaccine by the end of the year.....proved false
COVID-19 EUA will not be widely available by April.....false
Its not safe to open schools.....false

Now if you even question election results, your racist, xenophobe, insurrectionist (sense a trend yet?)

All from the go-along-to-get-along gang....

(i didnt even mention russian collusion, that we sat thru for 3 years and $40million)

None of that has a single thing to do with this thread or my posts. Lol What a travesty.

yeah it does....you first mentioned misinformation (so I gave some examples of misinformation that you never worried about before)...also everything I mentioned is what the 'go-along-to-get-along gang' has said over the last 2-4 years.

Now in your OP, the go-along-to-get-along gang is trying to say something else. It will be proved false too.

I'm old enough to remember the 'hole in the ozone layer' and how florida was going to under water by 2001........FALSE!

but it wont stop you from firing off at the hip on EVERY SINGLE POLITICAL post

I havent posted in any politcial threads in months. Im actually trying to actively stay away from them becasue its a just conservative circle jerk of verbal bukakae. Not for me anymore. Your last post is a clear example of how impossible it is to discuss anything political as there is no way I could challenge or correct the numerous issues with your facial you just posted.

If you think dumping the filibuster to ramrod a partisan overthrow of the election system for a pure partisan advantage in addition to state packing, court-packing, and liberty restrictions are much-needed reforms while January 6th was the end of democracy because of "republicans" then you do no deserve to be taken seriously.

Portraying moose man as the face of the GOP is laughable. Looking at the laundry list of media lies now proven false to destroy Trump and not questioning the huge absence of an objective media but being upset about Trump not liking the media is funny.

The same Cack who kept saying the walls are closing in to now debunked Blue Anon theories? Are we talking about this insurrection?

It’s sad to me that people go out of their way to defend these insurrectionists

Its sad to the rest of us that you dont know the difference between "violent" and "forceful". If you can even call it forceful because they were let in by security. It was a protest of Americas who wanted to be heard, some people got a little too passionate and overstepped there boundaries to the point Alex Jones was yelling at them to not go into the building. I think it was stupid to do and whoever entered the building should get in trouble but its not like they were ransacking the place. You only call it an Insurrection because it fits your narrative. It's funny you keep saying other people are delusional when 38% of white far-left Liberals have been told by their doctors that they have a mental health condition compared to only 14% of far-right conservatives.

Wait...you mean it's not about that?

It begins with a misnomer "political science" the very antonym of science.

If politics were to be studied anywhere it should be in the math department, specifically where they study "chaos theory" and fractal geometry.

All else is folly
