The Northwestern offer means he can stay eligible to play ball.

He got his Arizona offer AFTER Dewayne Walker was hired, which is a feather in the cap as far as I'm concerned.

They had some success back when Petersen was coach but I wouldn't say that equals their offers now days as a bench marker

I never said it was a bench marker. I said the offer means he can play.

It isn't a program flush with four and five star recruits, but they have two dozen dudes in The League right now. Hawkins, Petersen and Harsin have been able to develop talent there. Mickey received his offer from Boise State after Andy Avalos was hired as HC, as well, Avalos has been a part of the program as an assistant having developed some of that talent. He did a pretty good job as DC with Oregon for two years too.

Harsin went 69-19 and was just hired by Auburn.
