I know coaches talk to each other all the time, but this certainly had the makings of being a somewhat awkward moment. Now let's try and read into this a little more and note that the OSU icon was first, but he mentioned Coach Lyght first! lol

He made no mention of it when interviewed at SMSB-La by Biggins. Mentioned everybody else though and all his plans.

Him and his 2018 teammate are coming per ISD and another site. He will prboably be committed to Nebraska at that point but just get him on campus so we can get an OV. High academic kid and just someone we don't land

I've been watching Bookie's feed today to see if he's coming and I've seen nothing.

He didn't make it sound like ND was getting an OV today. But who knows.

He is an intelligent kid for sure. Very polished in front of the mic. Hi dad runs the new 7v7 outfit in LA, Proway. He's a bought and sold Adidas guy. Darnay was plugging them like he was a MX racer listing sponsors. He's going to Nebraska (Adidas school) for that reason alone. That's where the Calibraska Movement has it's roots. All the Calabasas guys, Tristan Gebbia, Keyshawn Johnson Jr and others like Rahyme Johnson are Proway guys too. The Bag man is paying for that 3 Stripe Life.

Like Lucky said I think this is the staff way's to hopefully get him back on campus for an OV. He is truly an elite football player. Hats off to Todd Lyght to get Holmes and Shaun Wade on campus this summer. Nebraska, OSU and UCLA top 3 IMO

One site we are recruiting him and the other says we aren't. So probably a longshot. We got some Cali DB's visiting for the Stanford game with I updated in their threads.

Deommodore Lenoir and Elijah Gates... I think they both end up at Oregon. Unless SC begs enough at the last minute. SC is getting waxed this year in LA/OC/IE in the DB class. UCLA ain't doing any better.

It's to the point where expecting one from Wade, Graham or Johnson to SB is a smart bet.

I thought your list was just recruits in the running. Holmes isn't coming to South Bend. No Adidas, No Darnay.

lol I know Holmes probably isn't coming to ND but he's a high academic kid that seems to value an education. Stanford was his leader for a while, all we need to do is get him on campus and anything can happen man even though it's a longshot. Plus it gets us a foot in the door at his high school that produces D1 players yearly it seems.

The only reason he's coming through is his plane lands in Chicago and they'll stop at ND on the way down to FNL in Columbus.

Just wondering if more Cali guys like Bookie, Lindsey and Woodbey are stopping through too?

Darnay told Scout the coaches said once he locks down a CB spot he can also see some time at WR.

Holmes, Michigan is a school that's reportedly been on his mind more the last couple months or so. UCLA, Nebraska, Notre Dame and Ohio State are also reportedly high on his list at this point.

He's a little different then Adoree, he's not an olympic athlete and Jackson is a great football player but IMO he's a tad overrated as a football player but there are maybe three athletes like him in the country. I would compare Holmes more to Biggie
