comes from a military family
“Me and Coach Todd Lyght, we’re getting close,” Wade said of Notre Dame. “I talked to him and he did a lot of big things back in his day. He was telling me he wants me to do the same thing. He wants me to be the first corner he coaches to do the same thing.”
per a source close to him, lyght has been lights out really w/ getting a relationship established and working the parents...we have told him basically he can come in and play immediately
NO DATE given for official
247
Sorry, I haven't followed this closely. Would this be a true flip or a situation of being edged out by OSU? I would guess the former.

He's a 5* CB. Nobody is edging him out
Too many azzes, not enough seats for Urban and Tate in Columbus. You can't land 5 four & five star CB's in one class.
OSU's greed will be other program's opportunity.
Visiting to early
too*
Sometimes I forget I'm on the internet, sorry man
Must be going to ND. Dropped 4 spots in the new 247 top player list. They are getting ready to start the slide when he officially comes over!
Sadly, you're probably right. And like most drops, this one is entirely unwarranted. From all reports, Wade tore the Opening up. He was easily one of, if not the best DB there.
Stop it. You guys are getting me hoping again. Last time I thought we'd end with Beal, Kaindoh and potentially another top level DE.
Now I'm getting excited about the secondary...
ND golden rule of recruiting: never get excited about the <strike>secondary or D-line</strike> defense. Ever. You're only allowed to be excited about quarterbacks, offensive lineman, and sometimes wide receivers.
literally anywhere but Ohio State please
THE CURRENT COMMITMENT: Ohio State
THE SITUATION: Both Florida and Alabama are trying everything they can to change Wade’s mind. Not so long ago, Florida seemed like the biggest threat to the Buckeyes. These days, however, it’s Alabama that has established itself as the apex predator. Wade has visited the campus of both schools, but his parents have accompanied him to Tuscaloosa. Wade’s commitment to Ohio State is longstanding, so breaking it won’t be easy. Still, Alabama is working overtime to keep the Jacksonville-based five-star in the South.
CHANCE OF A FLIP: 51 percent
MOST LIKELY POACHER: Alabama (with an outside chance of Florida)
