Koon is taking bets...anyone else want a piece of the Vaction?

I just can't bet on a game involving one of my teams. It never ends well.

I'd be happy with any finals match up that involves Cleveland really. I don't see Toronto winning more than 1 game, if that.

I bet Frank Vogel would lose this game. Probably put and stay with all his worst players.

Cleveland to the Finals...!!! Woohoo. Now get to play a good team.

Not their fault, obviously, but the West has been duking it out.

I'm thinking if LeBron won two all by himself last year playing "battle-ball"...that they might be able to win four with Irving and Love. Am i insane?

Why I am a fan of Cleveland Sports?

Splash Brothers.......raining absolute fire. Unfortunately, every time I would try to appreciate the epic spectacle, that pud Draymond Green would be mugging for attention.

For all you Believeland guys. I boosted this from ISD.

The current commits are STRONGLY behind you 15-6 in favor of the Cavs with Hinish unable to root for a Cleveland team so he went with the Pens for the Cup. Typical Pittsburgh guy!

The recruits see it closer, 7-6 Cavs. Jedrick Wills didn't know who would win. He's from Lexington, KY... he don't know nothing about basketball. F-UK Wildcats.

We will start with NBA expert and 2016 Notre Dame long snapper signee John Shannon’s thought on the series.
“Cavs in 6,” stated Shannon. “Why? First of all, they are very well rested. They haven’t played many games in the playoffs and much less than Golden State, who just finished a dog with Oklahoma City Thunder. Also with Channing Fry in the lineup and no more Mosgov for Cleveland, it allows them to spread the floor much better than previous years. A motivated LeBron still salty about the MVP voting with a healthy Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving is terrifying. Plus, I don’t like Draymond Green.”

QB Ian Book: “Warriors. No one can guard Curry on the Cavs.”
QB Avery Davis: “Cleveland. If LeBron doesn’t get that city a ring, I will cry for him.”
QB Phil Jurkovec: “Cavs in 5. LeBron over everyone.”
RB Tony Jones Jr: “Cavs.”
TE Brock Wright: “The Cavs!”
OL Tommy Kraemer: “Gotta go with my home state team. Cavs all the way.”
OL Parker Boudreaux: “Cavs. I am a big LeBron fan.”
OL Liam Eichenberg: “Cavs. Hometown team.”
OL Josh Lugg: “Warriors. One word…Curry.”
DE Jamir Jones: “Cavs! I feel like Kyrie is going to be the X-Factor this series.”
DE: Julian Okwara: “Warriors. I got to go with Steph. He’s from my city, Charlotte.”
DT Kurt Hinish: “Honestly, I don’t know follow the NBA too much. I’ve been watching my hometown team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, in the Stanley Cup Finals.”
LB Jonathan Jones: “LEBRON JAMES AND THEM CAVS! My pops is from Cleveland.”
LB David Adams: “I got the Cavs. LeBron is my favorite player!!”
LB Drew White: “I think it’s going to be a close series because the Cavs will kill the Warriors down low and with rebounds. I think Curry and Thompson will carry the team and win the finals.”
LB Pete Werner: “I have the Cavs! Hard to become back to back champs. LeBron is my favorite player and he is not giving it up this year.”
CB Troy Pride Jr.: “Golden State Warriors. Steph is Godly with his splash brother and that defense.”
DB Julian Love: “The Cavs. I’m a big LeBron fan and now that Kyrie and Love are healthy, they should be able to win it.”
S Jalen Elliott: “Warriors.”
S DJ Morgan: “I got Cleveland because LeBron deserves to get this ring for his hometown!”
S Isaiah Robertson: “Cavs all the way!!”
S Chris Schilling: “Cavs. LeBron is overdue.”

Of course we had to check in with some of the guys that also hold Notre Dame offers or are close to getting offers from the 2017 and 2018 classes.

RB Jaelen Gill: “Cavs! They are going to win because there is no way LeBron will let his team fall two years straight, especially to the same team. Also, he has his boys back with him. This should be a 4-2 series.”
WR Hezekiah Jones: “Warriors. They have Steph.”
WR Michael Young: “The Warriors! Their resilience is second to none. Can’t win if you don’t take their heart and no one has yet.”
WR Dashon Bussell: “I got Cleveland. One, because Golden State beat my favorite team. Two, I’m not a LeBron fan, but his mindset is different and he is going to kill this series.”
OL Trey Smith: Cavs. LeBron almost took the Warriors down by himself last year, so now he has help.”
OL Jedrick Wills: “I honestly have no clue. I’m cheering for both teams either way it goes. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are amazing to watch along with the team, but LeBron has always been my favorite forever and the Cavs too.”
DE Johnathan MacCollister: “I want the Warriors to win, but I think the Cavs are going to pull it out because they are hungrier.”
DE Malik Vann: “I want to see Curry win because a lot of people want to see him fail, but I want to see LeBron win because I am an Ohio boy. I’m taking the Warriors in 6!”
DE Hunter Echols: “Golden State because I am a Cali guy!”
LB Dallas Gant: “Cavs! I like LeBron and he should have won last year.”
CB Houston Griffith: “I got that Cavs. We already know LeBron is going to get his, but his supporting cast will be the difference.”
CB Thomas Graham Jr.: “Warriors. I am a fan of the splash brothers.”
CB Yusuf Corker: “Cavs. I want LeBron to have another ring.”
ATH Allen Stritzinger: “I have to go with Golden State and Steph Curry. It’s a lightskin thing man haha.”

Probably pulling for Cleveland this series. I like both Curry and Lebron and think they're both class acts and freaks of nature (in their own way).

But damn if I don't hate me some Draymond Green.

In the entire history of the NBA Finals, from 1950 to the present, which franchise has faced the teams with the highest winning % in the regular season?

You guessed it!

The data:

An interesting additional detail about The Curse.

Who could take that list seriously. The Bulls aren't on it. Also, why is Cleveland on the top of the list? They have played teams with the same win % as the Baltimore Bullets and B comes before C.

The Cavs shouldn't be on the top of the list.

Kyrie isn't as good as he's billed. That's the Cavs problem
