All the Twitter-verse seems to think he's just posting his future decisions reasoning. He hasn't committed to anyone. But you have to like our chances if that's his true criteria.

But... but.... but.... he mentioned the following in order

GSR
APR
Academic Ranking
Degree
School Network
Internship
Competing for Rings

Who else could he mean? Stanford's not on him. ND is the 6x champ in GSR. I didn't see Harbaugh tweeting out the prestigious internships the Wolverine players accepted, that was ND and I was unaware that they give a ring out for winning the State of Michigan Bowl every year... which they Epicfailed at last year.

Maybe he was sending this out to Eastern Michigan fans? In that case I stand corrected.

Michigan claims a lot of things, so why would it be weird for them to claim the above as their strengths as well? He didn't say that the school had to be ranked by a trusted source as the best in those things, in order.

I think it certainly bodes well for us, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he came out committed to scUM.

IT'd be cool if 'ND football' or whatever the most recognized twitter account tweeted that identical list and compared ND down the line to UM, without directly tweeting at Kelly. It'd be noticed.

Someone should tweet back the findings in the study below. Michigan only graduates 59% of it's black athletes in Football & Basketball. When I was in school, 59% was the same as 0%. It's failing. Michigan even has a lower % of participating black athletes than ND. They are at 46%.

ND is #3 in the country at 87%. 48% of the Football & Basketball teams are black.
Stanford is #2 at 89%. Only 27% of the F & B players are black.
Northwestern is #1 at an impressive 94%. Only 33% of F & B players are black.

Scout: Enjoyed the II visit. Sounds like he really likes and trusts Coach Lyght. We will see fi he sticks to this:

“What’s gonna factor into it is a great education,” Kelly-Powell said. “Life after football, where do I fit into the system, coaches and my relationship with them. And the environment, do I see myself as a student? Coaches, it’s a business. They’re gonna end up leaving. Some coaches are staying. But do I see myself as a student at the school.”

they are first cousins and many people think they'll go to the same school. that is what they are planning on.

it'll be one of Mich, ND, MSU. Thomas seemed to be a heavy MSU lean early on but he's wide open now.

Visiting for the Mich St game. 247 says it's an unofficial.

Gonna be a lot of regional guys at that game.

Any realistic shot at this kid? I remember reading he blew up at the Opening. I hope we do!

He obviously likes ND considering how many times he has been to campus. Just not sure it's enough to overtake UM. It will be interesting to see if any SEC team can make a run at UM now that they're giving out their second teir offers.

I believe it was Ambry Thomas who blew up at The Opening. JKP was playing with a bit of an injury that hobbled him but most still said he looked solid, just not great. Hard to get a good read on a kid who is injured. I still like both JKP and Thomas as prospects tho.
