It's just tough for me to see how or why some of the programs even offered him. He doesn't have "elite" film, traits or even a ceiling that would be on the level of Tennessee. Definitely confusing, but to each their own I suppose.
Not sure I see the relevancy in having to have "elite" film in order to be a viable option.
1. There are probably what 5 or 10, at best, "elite" DT's that have put out Junior film. So those are the only guys worthy of offers, count me confused by that.
2. We all know how SEC schools run their programs, and Tennessee frequently oversigns with quite a few non-elite players, shouldn't come as a surprise, at least not to me.
3. Now, I don't believe he's the #6 best DT in the country but he's definitely a top 250 guy. Too many successful programs or teams have had numerous 3 and 4 star players for me to question why they would be taking a certain player.
4. Hopefully I'll regret saying this but our current 3 year stretch of DT would definitely have this guy as a want, for sure.
