Campari and soda.

Tomorrow: Great Lakes Chillwave (never had before) before dinner; porter or stout with lamb for dinner. Suggestions on porter or stout, and which one in particular?

Happy Easter, all.

Love campari and soda, especially with a twist of lemon.

Just finished The Lizard King IPA by Pipeworks Brewing. I have to confess that I was a little disappointed. Still good, but too much going on.

Slumming it before bed: drinking a Rhinelander shorty. Just realized the other day that they still made this stuff and had to buy a case. Haven't had this since I was at ND (late 1980s-early 1990s). Memories---or lack thereof.

Snowflake tears

The hilarious irony in your false-toughness is that you reported a post by another member for being mean to you and calling you names. Everyone on this board laughs at your thin skin and poor attempts to troll people followed by negging anyone who calls you out. You're the most fragile snowflake of them all.

I really enjoyed it. Very citrusy and dank. I would definitely buy it again... If I could, haha.

I am glad that you enjoyed it. Probably the best IPA brewed in Arizona. Sadly not all of the beers that I sent you are as good as it (in particular there is one beer that I sent that a lot local people like but I find it to be just ok).

I am having some Dragoon IPA myself right now.

It was a very, very, good west coast IPA. I'm also really excited to try that Tower Station. Thanks again!

Same, what are your thoughts on this one?

I just poured my third bottle right now. I have to admit that I am slightly torn on it. The nose all three times has been absolutely wonderful. Really good tropical and citrus fruits (along with some stone fruits (peach, apricot and tangerine), to go with some nice bitterness. I wish it was a little more bitter, and I am not sure if it is as good as I remember the best releases being (though probably better than the last regular Stone Enjoy By that I had). The tricky thing is that sometimes we remember things being better than they actually are. Trying to remove my biases, I rate this release a 93-95.

After my long winded and rambling reply, what do you think of it?

Similar to yours. Loved the smell but taste lacked (thin?). After the last two Enjoy Bys, this one is better, but not great imo (12/25 and 10/31, didn't get 2/14 here...at least the DIPA). I've got another bottle in the fridge though, maybe the second go around will change my mind.

Lagavulin 16 yo after a day of Oberon and Red wine with the family.

Easter: Alpine's Pure Hoppiness while cooking, and Deschutes Black Butte Porter with roast leg of lamb. The latter was a good choice with the lamb.

Dogfish Head Namaste
Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA
Founders Rubaeus
Alpine Hoppy Birthday

Pkt- As a collector I'm having a hard time deciding to pull one of your beers out of the fridge as there's only one of each. I know I have to drink them sooner rather than later. I will, I promise.

Pleasantly surprised at how tasty Watermelon Dorado is. Recommend if you like watermelon flavor.
