per loy---his sources indicated that he could skip the visit and take the sat...they were correct...this same source also indicates that he is leaning heavily toward Notre Dame.
this same source says that Stanford is a legit threat; HOWEVER they don't feel he will gain admission at any point.
family is COMPLETELY on board for ND
his mom is expected to inform him next week that she prefers he continue his time as a student-athlete at the University of Notre Dame
ALSO ---wouldn't be surprised if he cancels his georgia tech visit either

Where would you start him out at next year? Outside with Hunter jr in the slot or opposite? Also I could see him taking over kick and punt returns Sanders was good but looked shaky at times.
Stanford is out. Period.
Here is the alternative non-conspiratorial theory:
- He becomes convinced Stanford is the best combination of athletics and sports--whether he wants to go there or not;
- He doesn't have the scores to get into Stanford;
- He's a good, smart kid, with decent scores, and he is an elite athlete so Stanford dragged him along a little more than they should have, hoping he'd getting in and not wanting to close the door if he did;
- While he could technically still get in, there is really very, very little chance (In fact, the NCAA is likely to investigate if an athlete jumps 100 pts on his SAT right before signing day);
- His family gets the fact that Stanford isn't happening;
- He has not because he is a competitive kid with a lot of pride and he doesn't like it going around that he isn't smart enough to get into Stanford (which is a description that fits 999 out of 1000 people).
So while ND is the logical choice for him based on what he wants, he is holding out a little.
Side note, finishing classes like this helps keep coaches around IMO. With the 2015 class and now this (not to mention how the 2017 class looks to be starting), gotta think BK wants to see this through. Shaw has the same reasoning for wanting to stay at Stanford - in that he feels they're so close.

- He has not moved on yet because he is a competitive kid with a lot of pride and he doesn't like it going around that he isn't smart enough to get into Stanford (which is a description that fits 999 out of 1000 people).

If this team could just stay healthy for a season...
If this team could just stay healthy for a season...
or play D or score in the redzone..
SAYS he's retaking SAT's. Perhaps an excuse to get out of the Bama visit.
I'm going with the theory that he's already committed to ND and everything else is misinformation intended to build drama for his announcement.
I still believe that the timing of BK's in home visit was significant. I think it's significant that all the buzz is about ND, but Demetris has time to post a photo touting the Cal coaches visiting, but nothing about ND visiting. I think it's significant that he suddenly schedules a GT visit. It just comes across as trying to downplay ND and trying to "pump up" all these other serious threats.
By the way I also believe that there are aliens living among us. So take all of this with a grain of salt.

That doesn't fit in the non-conspiracy thread, however, it does fit in with my conspiracy thread

I could see DROB having a similar freshman year as Floyd, Fuller, and Tate. They run 1-3 routes all year long but made key plays. Mostly the 'go' route. Kids this good just need a chance to make a play with a low probability of a turnover.
