UGA's 247 site and Kipp Adams posted that they too believe ND is the front runner right now. They also acknowledge that though he says he goin to OV to Bama and UGA he still hasn't set them up at this point.

So not just ND writers with the misplaced enthusiasm here.

If by the grace of God we get Robertson I think Claypool should start at defense when he gets on campus. We need more athletes on defense and Robertson, McKinley, and Stepherson is an outstanding WR haul by itself

Wiltfong says he is close to throwing down a crystal ball for ND. "REAL CLOSE"

There was a lot of buzz at the AA game about him and ND. The SEC pull is going to be strong but Robertson knows ND is a great academic school and he could come in and play Day 1.

Visiting Bama this weekend. Coaches will be back next weekend with him.

i think that was the general consensus around here but have to remember he hasnt taken an official visit to either of the other 3 (iirc) and he reportedly can't get into Stanford anyways.

Just seems to be on of these, do I wanna go out of my comfort zone or not.

No, expect the Robertson's to see a very steady dose of ND coaches at his home from now until NSD. Bk will use his as close to NSD as possible.

I will take this as tremendously good news. The only way you use the in home now is if you think you can seal the deal immediately. BK must believe he is extremely close to committing.

I think there's a dead period in the days before NSD. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

You are correct, but that is just the last few days. The point is that BK could do his in home anytime between now and January 30th. I think it's significant that he's choosing to do it earlier then later.

Yea, 247 was under the impression we'd send waves of assistant coaches for the next 2 weeks and save that BK visit until the end. Sounds like Scout knows something they don't.
