per RIVALS Bryan Driskell (just an excerpt)

quickly accelerates, strong agility with quick feet, loose hips, GREAT balance ,change of direction ability on defense is top-notch what makes Fuller truly special as a prospect is his intelligence and instincts, which are exceptional.

What does an expert know that this board doesn't?

I love Driskel's breakdowns. That dude understands football down to every position and scheme. Talent evaluating can always be hit or miss, but as far as looking at a game, looking at the matchups, and looking back at what went wrong, no one else I'd rather listen to. He's edgy around people disagreeing, but if you provide a logical reason why, I don't think he's bad at all. When he says 'if you disagree that's fine', he seems like he really means it. He doesn't sugar coat it though and I'm OK with that.

This guy becomes more appealing the more I hear about him.

sure all hear say right now, but not much bad being spit out lately in regards to his skill set in the secondary

If the coaching staff thinks he can play CB, that's all I need to know.

lol everytime i hear driskell speak i think he has the classic snarky-smart ass Offensive Coordinator attitude lol. I listen to BGI every week but Lou's sctick is getting tiring. I roll my eyes every time he starts talking about Ara, Lou, Frank Leahy etc..its just getting boring after a whole season of listening to his history lessons

Lou is the embodiment of a stick-in-mud. Coach D definitely seems like a deek, but no doubt he knows his shit.

I like their show and appreciate both of their shticks, but Coach D needs to take some deep breaths and let others talk. He loves talking and hates listening. He might be my favorite if hed just not interrupt so much. I don't mind his being argumentative, just his being a little rude (which he is not in person).

Bill Regan? from Power Hour is also good. He's calm and brings a lot of perspective.

Lou is a bit like Prister, who I also like. Both seem like good guys, and happy to be doing what they do.

Andrew Ivans is always entertaining: funny and seems like a pretty hard worker.

I really like Mike Frank, but he's always going to be a downer until we win a NC. He is the tolerable version of that NDNation mentality: "I owe it to myself and ND to be miserable until we're 13-0."

Sampson is a little too much of a know it all, but he does a good job.

ND fan base is generally divided between pessimists who insist they are realists, and jolly guys that are just happy to be here. Its refreshing to hear guys, like BD, who know football and bring a little perspective about how hard it is to win.

II is the easiest to listen to as it seems like the three guys actually like each other and have chemistry. Driskell and Lou could do with another voice on their podcast, maybe get Ivins involved or have some guests on. I like Regan he has a nice radio voice lol and seems very humble, Mike Frank just comes across as a bit of a piss-ant these days

ISD = Scout > Rivals in terms of overall listenability and entertainnment value.

ISD = Rivals > Scout in terms of content with Coach D a little better in terms of game analysis and Mike and Bill far superior with program perspective.

Imo.

Article is titled "Fuller basically down to four". Don't have a sub, so I don't know what "basically" means.

From the article you get the feeling he is an OSU or UM lean... He talked about how OSU was a one time leader and is going back there next weekend and is excited. He is going to UM on the 22nd. He talks about ND's networking and thats about it.

Can't read the article, but not surprised that most of the focus is on the visits that he just set and why he wants to visit those schools, etc.

247 is saying that its an ND/OSU battle with UM on the outside looking in and trying to change that on his OV. PSU doesn't seem to have much of a shot.

“I’m still considering my top eight but I’m taking official visits to Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and Notre Dame. Some time after get all those visits done, (I’ll commit). I think Ohio State does everything the right way. It’s a first class organization. I like how Michigan pays attention to New Jersey a lot because I feel like we’re one of the best states for football. I’m still in constant communication with Penn State. They’re not out of it at all. Notre Dame is still really high on my list. I don’t really know the new Rutgers guys. I know coach Ash but nobody else.”

Mixed reviews on him in coverage at CB. Sounds like general consensus is that he moves very well for his size but might not have the speed/quickness to be a high end CB. Sounds like there is a lot of "could" play CB but "should" play S. Keep in mind that Fuller wants CB.

Wilfong CB to OSU. Feel really confident in it.

I'd love to have him but won't lose sleep about this. Our DB recruiting ol has been great this year coupled with last year. I really hope we land one of those linebackers.

I'm not sure I'd call the last two cycles 'great' for DB recruiting just yet.

Would love to get a top-end safety (even one who thinks he's a corner). But some kids are sold on "three years at OSU and then get drafted," and there's not much dissuading them.
