Same could be said for a lot of players who are committed to division 1 schools.

Put it this way.

Prince Sammons got defensive player of the year in his division b/c he's one of the top prospects in the country, but I can guarantee there's a bunch more players playing on much better teams that had better years than he did.

Bc he isnt a good QB. He has trouble with accuracy and control. He has the physical tools to be a good QB, but he simply just isn't a very good QB.

That's why I almost never put stock into those padless 1v1s that people over analyze. It's almost always an advantage for the defender, the pads and jerseys give the OL so much more surface area that's easier grab onto and block than the under armor dri fit shirts that make hands slipo off them
