I mean it's obvious who is leaving for the NFL, but the comment was more in the relation of if kids of this talent want to come, take them and figure out #'s later.

I mean everyone was terrified about being over 85 last year and yet when kickoff for Texas happened, ND was well under 85.

I probably know this, but please don't be talking about Jaylon =(

I give less than a 5% chance that he returns. There is absolutely no reason to forego a top 10-15 pick in this year's draft. If he thought there was something left to prove or earn by staying, I'm sure he would but Jaylon is the kind of guy that will finish his degree and have a life after football but he needs to be in this year's draft.

He's going to make a lot of money and barring injury, I expect him to have a dynamic and long-lived NFL career. His athleticism is rare and I suspect his combine numbers are going to give some GMs wood.

I'd say Pride, Studstill and Hamlin looks likely, definitely the former 2.

"I'm not really sure," he said when asked what's next.

"It could go from me taking all four of my official visits, to me taking none. I'm not really sure how that will all work. It's up to my parents, but I kind of want to be able to make a decision somewhat soon."

"Notre Dame is a very prestigious school and just based upon the fact that they have interest in me, definitely interests me," Pride said.

"I just want to continue to keep making my list," he added. "I want to make my rounds, make sure that I have all my checks, and just make the right decision based on everything."

"It's definitely key moving forward for Virginia Tech," Pride said when asked about the news. "But with the way that I'm evaluating them, I'm taking everything in, and I understand that I can't make a commitment just based upon a person it has to be the whole school … It helps that they have Coach Gray there, but at the same time I'm looking at the entire aspect of the school and not just specifically one person." - See more at: https://notredame.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1833286#sthash.Hrj13EjX.dpuf

Pride and Studstill, I call DB recruiting a success. Anything beyond that (Hamlin, Long, etc.) is a home fricking run.

It sure sounds like ND from those words. Won't get my hopes up too high yet.

Per BGI, Pride has yet to be in contact with Fuentes since him taking the VT job, yet Bk and Troy have been. Also, VT has already sent out a new CB offer to a Oklahoma propsect, they view this as telling. They expect a decision fairly soon.

VaTech's DB coach did an in-home the day after Denson. Name escapes me at the moment, Gray maybe?....but anyways, that's the coach he was closest with. However, I think Denson has bumped ahead of VaTech in terms of relationships with the family and Pride.

Notre Dame has a firm lead. However, he is still making sure Notre Dame is the right choice for him.

visit N.C. State this weekend--rivals

I think the consensus appears to be that Studstill is essentially on board. If Pride and Hamlin also pop, does that foreclose a spot for Long or Fuller? Or does Pride take Hamlin's spot or vice versa while we leave room for a guy like Long? Also what is our dream scenario here? Studstill, Hamlin and Long?

Given all of the breakdowns I've read, my dream scenario would be Studstill, Long and Hamlin. But if we managed to land Studstill, Long and Pride Jr would almost be the same thing.

Ultimately, I'd be pleased with any three from that list but I believe Studstill is the most needed just based on depth.

From what I've read, Long would have a spot through signing day. I don't know if the same can be said for Fuller.

Local recruiting expert here in Columbia, SC has said that Will Muschamp has reached out to Pride and is trying to get him to visit USC.

I am honestly shocked the previous coaches let him get out of the state considering how poor they are in the backfield right now..

Named ND his leader. UNC and VT are pushing hard per Bartow. Sounds like he's going to take all his OVs then decide.

In speaking of Muschamp, "a lot of people say he's the best defensive mind in the country."

Who the fuck are all those people and how could any one believe that.

I don't like that Muschamp reached out. they need big time help in the backfield. This does not bode well for us.

Looks like someone got ahold of his wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Muschamp

Wikipedia said:
William Larry Muschamp (born August 3, 1971) is a special college football agent, American football coach and former player. He currently is the lead team destroyer and the head coach at South Carolina. He previously destroyed the Florida from 2011 to 2014.
