From the Intel thread:
From ISD's greatest, Chris Mc:

...

- BVG visited a big '16 prospect in DE Chidi Okoyna from GA who appears to be a big time recruit for next cycle. Chidi was very excited about the visit comparing ND to an Ivy League school who also happens to have a big time historical program. There's legit interest.

I'll take him just based on that look on his face.

’16 GA DE Hears From Irish Staff

ISD's Matt Freeman spoke with Chidi yesterday. There are a number of great quotes in the article, but here's a sample:
I wanted to major in Medicine early on, but recently I have started to lean more towards Business. The broadness of the Business field is intriguing and I am also good at networking. I am looking for a good alumni base and good academics. The quality of the facilities and overall how comfortable I feel there.

Chidi has been speaking with Coaches Booker & Elston. He will be visiting Stanford soon and plans to visit ND at some point. Wants to major in business.

RKG and ND kid, no doubt about it. Well spoken, serious about his studies, majoring in business, values a good alumni base, and has talent in a position of need? If he ends up on the Farm, I will punch a baby.

Junior Highlights:

Mods: It looks like there was a second thread started for him. Could we get a merge, please and thank you?

Big news. I love late in the game recruiting surprises, especially regarding big DEs.

Fairly excited for this as I love new DE offers. Liked this kid early but as Lax pointed out, he kind of fell off the map for quite awhile there. Interested to see how this plays out.

First time watching his senior highlight. Similar to Khalid Kareem athletically, but looks like he has the same body type as Corey Robinson.

This is what he sent to 247 after his decommitment from Tennessee.

"The University of Tennessee is one that conducts business in the business world of college football, and in compliance I have decided to make a business decision for myself and for my future," Okonya wrote. "I feel as though I have the option and duty to select the best possible insurance for myself and future."

He'll take an OV to Duke this weekend.

He had been committed to Tennessee for quite a while. He decommitted last week and ND jumped.

If he plays like Kareem but with a more athletic build this could be a good late addition to the class

Sounds a bit salty.... Definitely sounds like Tenn pushed on without him.
