Lets not forget those poor Minnesota sports fans out there...they may even have it worse than cleveland

Hold on a gosh darn minute!!! The twins have two World Series wins (1987 – in honor of my son's birth and 1991), The Vikings four Super Bowl appearances (four losses, sadly, but they were there) .

The Golden Gophers football team were national champions three straight straight years ('34, '35 & '36) and again in 1940, 1941 and 1960. The Golden Gophers basketball team has won 2 national championships and one NIT championship.

The Golden Gophers men's ice-hockey program has won five Division I National Championships and 13 Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) Regular Season Championships. They have won 14 WCHA Tournament Championships and have 20 NCAA Frozen Four appearances.

The Golden Gophers women's hockey team has won four National Championships, most recently in 2012, and five WCHA Regular Season Championships. They have also won three WCHA Tournament Championships and have 6 NCAA Frozen Four appearances.

The Minneapolis Lakers are legend. I don't wanna talk about the Timberwolves.

The North Stars made it to two Stanley Cup Finals though they didn't win either.

The Minnesota Kicks made the NASL play off all six years they played here, including the finals game in 1976.

As is true of The Irish, a return to glory for some Minnesota team is just around the corner ...

You from Cleveland? I'd be interested in hearing suggestions on place to go.

Tyler Zeller is great in transition like Cody, but Cody is 100 times better in the post and probably has longer arms. Tyler has the dinosaur arms going on. Cody will probably be a top 5 pick next year.

I am... There are a ton of places to go around the Gateway area (Progressive Field, Quicken Loans Arena). Winking Lizard, Hard Rock, Morton's Thirsty Parrot, Panini's and the like.... If you go further north towards the lake and the Horseshoe Casino near Public Square, there are even more eateries and night life around the E. 4th area...(Tilted Kilt, Liquid....etc.) Good luck.

Cody is a monster, will be a top three pick. Probably number one. I hope he wins a National Championship.

HCTI, much appreciated.

I just aquired BoSox vs. Cleveland tickets today, for 8/11. Will be my first time to Cleveland...any suggestions on where to go would be greatly appreciated.

I wish your Indians well, except for the weekend of 8/10. Justin Masterson went to Bethel, which is about 10 minutes from ND...for whatever that's worth.

The Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame is the obligatory answer. Other than that, University Circle is really nice and only a 10 min drive from downtown. Ohio City around the West Side Market has turned into a really nice area with tons of bars and restaurants popping up over the past few years. The Great Lakes Brewery is a must.

Have fun at the game. There's a very good chance I'll be there as well.

Fundamental white guys dont go top 3 unfortunately. Kevin Love set the bar but I don't think zeller has showed what love did in college.

Do yourself a favor and go across the Carnegie Bridge into Ohio City and go to the Great Lakes Brewery. Great food and some of the best beer on the planet (depending on what you get).

Guy on another board says he and other Cleveland fans are the only true sports fans and everyone else is a weak minded bandwagon jumper. So you guys have that going for you, which is nice. Sorry about 1995 :)

You scalliwag! That series hurt considering that most experts to this day say that Cleveland had he greatest lineup ever. We just happened to run into the greatest pitching rotation ever.

95 doesn't hurt nearly as much as 97. Ninth inning... Best closer in the game in... I need Roland's just thinking about it... And I was 11 when it happened. To this day I don't let my non-Indiana fan friends to mention it.

I think the Browns are the worst out of all the Cleveland teams. They always get a solid first round pick in the draft and that talent never shows on the field. It seems like the Steelers and Ravens are getting stronger but the Browns are getting weaker.

Im interested to see if Weeden and Richardson will be any good in Cleveland. If recent history tells us anything, they will just be another player for the Browns

It might be time to dig this thread up. The good thing with the Browns is that there are no dreams to crush, but dang.

Just think how sweet it will taste if we EVER taste success. Could only laugh last night...wish we had blocked the Stanford field goal.

That's great. I was dying laughing when that story broke. Supposedly TMZ is talking with someone who has a video of JFF as Billy. Need to see that.

Cleveland sports radio has been off the hook the last two days. With Billy Vegas and the hiring of a lawyer and Jonah Hill to oversee the football operations, people or melting down.

It was beautiful. Listening to Bull and Fox show was hilarious this afternoon after getting out of school. Not a lot of happy people right now.

Can't say as I blame them. Lots of people put all their eggs in the Billy Manziel basket around here and got flat out burned by the bum. Personally, I can't stand the guy so I'm loving the heat he's getting.

Clearly the Cavs don't know that you need to show up in big games...and at this point we have to hope that the Spurs can beat the Warriors, because we obviously don't have what it takes to beat them. What an embarassment.

I'm pretty young, but if the Cavs can't win a title with this team in the next couple years, I have to wonder if any Cleveland team will win a title before I croak.
