College Football Playoff Rankings 2015 (ND #8...)

Well, that doesn't scream "your body of work just got a lot better than ours" but I suppose Baylor winning and usc losing didn't help... just seems like an awfully big jump for squeaking by TCU to me. I think we're getting boned by the inflation of TCU, Baylor, and Ok St.

This is how I have felt the past few weeks (the over inflation of Big 12).

If Florida beats Bama I can promise you after Florida loses tonight they will not be in the playoffs.

But I do agree with you. I just don't see ND getting in the playoffs.

OU or Bama has to lose (assuming UF loses to FSU). Neither seem very likely at this point.

Our playoff hopes are on life support, and pretty much depend on OK ST and their trash defense.

What really sucks is that besides Bama, who has elite recruiting, the other teams in the playoff really arent that elite recruiting wise.

It is called developing players. ND does not have someone who really develops.

What a great season though. I thought it would be tough sledding at 11-1 for us to get in and to do it that we have done with the injuries is amazing. So many great plays and exceptional players. Adams, Kizer, Tillery, CJ, ...

Agreed. 2-pt play away from beating Clemson and last second FG away from beating Stanford...this close to being undefeated with 10 starters missing part or all of the season along with multiple other injuries.

Try Clemson, FSU, Florida, A&M, Ohio State, Auburn, Tenn, Georgia, USC, LSU, mostly Michigan. I mean and this isn't counting the teams that are right around top ten to top 15 every year with a year or two in the top ten, top five every four to five years.

I think you just don't know as much as you think you do.

Vs FSU, Iowa/MSU or Ohio State in a NY6 bow (Fiesta or Peach) is a very good possibility. Rose picking loser of Big 10 champ or OSU. ND likely to play the other.

Needed to win this game and it didn't happen. It's probably for the best. What we've accomplished despite injuries has been super-human up to this point. Asking for a playoff win now would be a pretty tall order. Wouldn't mind facing a TCU/Oklahoma State/Iowa/etc in a New Years 6 bowl, hopefully we can get in there. Either way, we should get a decent bowl and a win would still cap off a great year.

If you mean tOSU, you may be right. Spoke with a friend of mine who's with corporate at one of the resorts that host the Fiesta Bowl teams and word is this is who the Fiesta Bowl Committee wants.
