CHRISTIAN MCAFFREY BOOMS THE DEFENDER WOWWWWWWWW!

He later said, "If only Tommy Rees had that speed. He'd have a clean record."

ND has been practicing all year how to win on the road. I do hope they've learned something they can bring to bear on the Trees.

I think our offense will move the ball on their defense. Our defense will get abused. I will be surprised if we win by double digits.

Offense will move the ball but the defense will continue to do what BVG has done all year which is not play well. We can win but a blowout is not happening.

I don't understand the optimism for this game. Devin Butler has never come though for us. We are decimated with injuries to Prosise, Onwalu, KVR, etc. will Cage and Tillery play next week? Kelly is going to have to have to coach a heck of a game.

It's unreal how dissatisfied a 10-1 team is making me feel, but they have met my personal expectations by getting 10 wins, so whatever happens from here on out isn't going to make me call for anyone.'a head.

Personally, I think ND just played its worst game of the year on offense. Our team got caught up on the excitement of the venue and the weakness of the opponent and didn't prepare well. Next week ND will be much less distracted and much more motivated after a week of embarrassment. I believe we will turn it around and Stanford will be the team overexcited by the glitz. I predict ND 27 Stanford 17

These games aren't spoken for by a network until a week before? Huh. I thought the games were all locked in before the season.

Any advice for up there? I'm familiar with the bay but more curious about gameday stuff

My experience attending is that the atmosphere is nothing like an ND game. Granted, I've attended a couple of night games, and arrived on the scene late, but don't remember there being a "buzz" around the campus/stadium. Decent amount of ND fans were in attendance when I was there.

I believe that ABC/ESPN and FOX share the rights for the PAC12 (with the PAC12 network getting the bottom of the barrel games). So what games are on each network (and what time slot) are decided weekly (especially at the end of the season) to put the best games on during primetime.

If Amir can keep playing like he did our offense can go another level. I've been wanting us to add a TE to the passing game opposite of Fuller all year. Amir isn't a TE but he can do the same things as far as keeping a defense honest in their coverage schemes.

Unfortunately he's disappeared more often than not. Is that play calling/game plan or just simply not playing has hard/focused the next time out is beyond me.

That was Kizers worst game by far, IMO. Does he do that back to back, I'll wager no way.

Probably a blind fool in my optimism in the offense producing vs Stanford. But I think Kelly is going to put the O in position to put up plenty of points as long as we secure the football.

Defense is another topic.

New Sagarin Predicator model has SU 1.2 points better than ND with HFA of 2.68 that makes SU a 3.88, say 4 point favorite.

Sagarin does not factor in injuries.

Forecast calling for sunny weather most of the coming week. Hopefully the field won't be a muddy mess like it was last time.

I get it, but we're ranked ahead of Oklahoma and Stanford is going to be ranked way ahead of Oklahoma State, so I really don't get it.

They want to pump that game up so the winner can jump us in the polls.

Too bad the polls have zero to do with the committee.

So we'll be playing without our #1 QB, #1 and #2 RBs, #1 TE, the sixth man on the OL (Bars), #1 NT, #1 SLB, #1 and #3 CBs, and our #3 and #4 safeties.

And we still have a good shot. Huh.

Just saw Prosise is doubtful. Not surprising but not good. If we can get by Stanford somehow, we'll be in such better shape come bowl time. Half of our OL is battling sprained ankles that aren't bad enough to hold them out, get Prosise back and break in the new starting CB.

Is there any chance Sebastian gets tapped for this game. I know BK said he wanted to not use him if at all possible. With KVR a no go and the Stanford game a must win... this is interesting.

11/28 7:30 PM ...... Open .. Consensus
217 Notre Dame ... -2 -06
218 Stanford .................. -3 -16

I don't understand how ND could have been -2 in Palo Alto even with Procise and KVR.

Yeah, I hadn't seen any lines posted anywhere yet. Not sure if that open is accurate, and it looks like VI doesn't have the odds from the different books filled out on their site yet. I expected Stanford to be a 3-6 point favorite.

Is it bad that 2 of the 6 that give you hope for this game are kickers? Or it may be that those are the only starters left playing...

But seriously, it seems that there have been a large number of injuries over the last few years. I don't think there is an injury that isn't season ending anymore. There has to be something going on here right? Under Amour shoes or training or something. Think how good this tam would be with all the starters!

One more shot to see if ND can play a complete game. The long break between Stanford and 1st playoff game will be much needed.
