Was I the only one who loved the bird flapping celebration? lol
+1. Temple was chirping all night. Give it right back to em.

I really hope everything works out and all 3 stay, but I'm just not seeing a puppy dogs and rainbows outcome. MZ might even get a med RS (can anyone in the know confirm?)
I love MZ but I'm starting to love Kizer too. Just so much nicer watching a big bodiee, 6'5" qb that has the stones for the position. If he keeps slowly getting better IDK how he's not our starter next year. And why on earth is BK not getting coach of the year recognition? Our recording all things considered is great.
I thought the bird flapping was innocent enough and justified given we just scored.
That or maybe he sees Angels?
Is this year's Deshone the best QB BK has had at ND? I'm torn between this year's Deshone and last year's Golson.
Kizer is going to start next year and have a hell of a career IMO. I feel really bad for Malik and sort of bad for Wimbush.
come on koon....turnover city?

"Not so fast Mister..."Anyway, I'm hoping we keep the QB situation/competition discussion on hold until we are done this year. I like DK has done this year but man...MZ is a boss. Good problem to have IMO. I think you also meant the first six games for Golson...right?
The fact last year's Golson made it in the discussion instantly nullifies your opinion. That's an insult to Kizer. Hell any year with Rees at the helm would've been more acceptable.
Neither fumbles nor fumbles lost are included in passing statistics.Golson 2014: 3,445 yards, 29 TDs, 14 INTs, 8.07 YPA, 143.6 rating.
Kizer through half the games: 1,669 yards, 11 TDs, 6 INTs, 8.9 YPA, 152 rating (with a better team).
Ward, I think you were a little hard on the beaver. So was Eddie Haskel, Wally, and Ms. Cleaver.

That was good.
Dude, Golson had a rotational season with Rees under his belt prior to last year. Kizer is a RS freshman who wasn't preparing himself to see the field until 2017. Kizer has had 'it' from day 1, Golson never will. Kizer has the team, Golson never did. Kizer takes critisism, learns from his mistakes, and gets better every week. He seems to have open communication with his coaches. Golson never had the team, never took critisism, never learned from his mistakes (actually made more as he progressed), and didn't listen to anyone.Golson 2014: 3,445 yards, 29 TDs, 14 INTs, 8.07 YPA, 143.6 rating.

Oh, and Golson QUIT ON THE TEAM LAST YEAR. I'd probably take Crist at his worst over Golson last year.
But Zaire was undefeated last yearI will say this, if Kizer takes us through the season with one loss and then wins or performs well in a major bowl/playoffs there should be no debate as who the starter will be next year. He will have earned it, plain and simple.

If I had one year to win I'd take Kizer over Golson, and it's not even close. He has 'it', the belief and respect of the team, and takes coaching well. Golson had none of those 3.I think you'd take Kizer anyway which is fine, but to be clear I wasn't asking who was better given the circumstances. I'm saying if you had one year to win (RS, year w/ Rees doen't matter), who'd you take? I'm torn. That's a compliment to Kizer, btw, especially since he's so young.

Yeah, I said this after the Virginia game. If Kizer leads us to the playoff, and if he won it, he would likely be the starter. It would be tough not to start him in 2016, although look at Urban Meyer, he's flipped between Cardale and Barrett a few times this year. That scenario aside, I still think it's Zaire since he was #1 prior to the injury.
You guys could be right, but that injury is a big deal and Kizer will be the more experienced QB based on games played by a significant margin this time around.
