Real football fans will know, but I think the reference will still be lost on most Gameday viewers. Steeler fans may know him well, but I would bet you most average Irish fans won't, let alone Temple or average Gameday viewers. You'd be better off saying "Rocky mows Rudy's lawn." Sadly he's more well known.
