I look forward to catching up on all of the Showtime series but it sounds like pure recruiting gold. Also showing the players/coaches on a more personal level that de-emphasizes the "business of college football". Really need to find time to binge watch these things and get caught up.

A few points:
  • Big ups to Prosise for his hot British girlfriend;
  • Zack Martin is a handsome sumbitch; and
  • CFB ROI aside, this series is our ultimate recruiting tool, as it perfectly captures what makes ND special.

This team is amazing. I love these kids.

Her accent was on point!

Awesome, thanks!

For those of you that are finding these links, where are you getting them from? Or would that spoil the whole thing if more people knew?

https://www.reddit.com/r/CFBUploads

This is where I found the links at the past few weeks.

What I am taking away from this series, other than how incredibly difficult it is to be a student athlete at a University that actually cares about academics, is that Kelly has seemed to really calmed his sideline demeanor down significantly.

Obviously, he is still known nationally,to a lot, s the purple faced guy that yells at his quarterback any chance he gets... but I was impressed with his conversations with Russell, Hunter, and Robinson throughout this episode. It may be because he knows he has cameras on him at all times now, or it may be he has turned over a new leaf on how he interacts with his players when they make a mistake.

Say what you will about Joe's struggles on the field, but he is definitely a leader in that locker room. It's cool to see his maturation from videos in 2013 till now, going from walk-on to captain. That sit down with Tranquil and describing his desire to crush USC, that's a Notre Dame Man there. Coming out of California, that's pretty special.

Don't take this wrong... but I was almost holding Corey's high intelligence/academics /talents against him... but then he made up for it with an athletic game (season?) saving TD catch against USC. The show to me has portrayed him more on the academic/student life side rather than a gifted football player. The other players that are focused on in the show it seems more a balance of student life and commitment to football. Prolly just me.

And if I heard him correctly, he had family attend USC also

I actually have thought possibly that is why he's regressed. IIRC he spent a lot of time over seas during the summer.

Sanford is a stud. I really think he's going to be an awesome head coach

And we're going to let him walk without consideration because 'thou must have hc experience'. Close minded. When you see talent, you need to keep it.

Is this a one and done season with Notre Dame? Anybody know if they are doing different schools/teams after this year?

I continue to be impressed with Mike Denbrock, as well. If he wants a HC position, I think he will get one after this season. Overall I am all pleased with this coaching staff. Yes, even BVG, but I know I am in the minority there.

Everything Terry Jillery does makes me laugh. His reaction faces are priceless. That scene when they are having the little campfire had me losing it!

It's funny to go back through some of the threads and read what some people thought of current playmakers (Kizer being one of them) and seeing just how good these guys are.

Really impressed by Denbrock and Gilmore. Love the way they talk to their guys. It also seems like Kelly is having fun with the kids this year too.

I noticed the same thing. D & G have such a great way about them. They really connect with the guys. Kelly seems to be different this year as well. My hope is it's a reflection of the staff around him and his comfort level with them. There's a real family vibe going on. I'm so impressed with Sanford as well. He's such a gamer, great pedigree.

Got to see it last night...

...hopefully recruits are getting to see it somehow/someway
...Sheldon & Jerry have potential at their own reality show
..Tranquill making fun of Schmidt's screams
...the coach/player interactions are fantastic

Couple things.

Better hair? Max or ESB?

Don't hate me but am I the only one who gets the toolbag vibe from Schmidt?

Coach Gilmore is the man, if I was a DL recruit I'd want to play for him for sure.

Lastly, my favorite part of the show is probably the clips of Sanford going nuts in the box. Absolutely love it.
