Kenyan Drake was a scout team scholarship player and he worked out fine. But, as it has been mentioned in this case, I don't think ND is recruiting J. Tranquill.

I was going to respond, in italics: "That's 22 torn ACL's there." I think Drue is a great player, and I feel horrible for him to suffer another knee injury after playing so well.

I remember people in Drue's thread said landing him was mostly a ploy to get his brother on the team.

I thought JT would have been a good offer if he hadn't gotten hurt. Really wanted him. But to compare the two right now is difficult because one is playing in the MAC and the other is playing against ACC, B1G, BIG 12 teams weekly. However, JT is only a true freshman and is 3rd in tackles on a solid MAC team. That isn't something to brush completely under the rug.

Also, Justin Ferguson is 7th in tackles and tied for 1st in interceptions (2).

Drake was a 4 star recruit outta high school with offers from all over the place.

ND doesn't' need another Tranquill in it's secondary. Western Mich is a nice spot for him. Best of luck

Justin may have been more successful on this team than what we've rolled out this year......but we'll never know.
