This is all I get whether I type "irishenvy.com" in my address bar or if I click on the main link on Google when I Google Irish Envy. I can click on one of the sub-forum links, like "2016 recruiting profiles" for example, when I Google it tho and I can get to the sub-forum but even when I get to that point, if I click on the "front page" tab it still brings me right back to this page below.

I'm having no other issues with my internet or any of the other sites I visit.

Well that's not what I wanted to hear haha. Or what I was expecting. I figured the storm yesterday that knocked my internet out had something to do with it since I never had the problem until right after that happened. I had IE open and was on the "front page" when the internet went out if that makes any difference.

I tried the bookmark thing too and that didn't work either. Thanks anyways tho and reps headed your way. Sounds like I might have to have one of my more tech savvy friends take a look at it. Thanks again.

What kind of security software are you using?
Recommend downloading MalwareBytes (free) and doing a quick scan.

That blank white page looks familiar. I had the same exact thing happen to me. I am pretty sure it just resolved itself after a few days. I remember I could only access IE from my phone.

There has to be someone on here that knows a little more about this issue. Although I don't believe it's a virus. If IE is the only page this is happening with, that is unlikely to be the issue. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.

Can you try in chrome and let me know what happens.

Are you having any similar problems with other webpages in Firefox?

Looks like someone is outnumbered. How do you like your toilet time? Face first?

P.S. W.T.F. 180 isn't even close to fat at my height. I was getting my black belt that year so it was all good weight. I do tend to knock out skinny bitches though. :) Used to fisticuffs, but I'll rock a dodge ball; prison rules.

I have Malwarebytes and a scan detected 4 "objects". Idk what that means though haha. I'm not much of a tech guy.

No need to be sorry man...I appreciate your input a ton. Hopefully I have the same problem you had and it resolves itself in a day or two. Thanks again.

I don't currently have Chrome but I can open Irishenvy in Internet Explorer and it works just fine. No issues at all.

And I'm not having any problems whatsoever with any other webpage in Firefox or Explorer.

I can download Chrome though if you think I should. I just have everything setup and saved to my liking in Firefox so I prefer to just continue with Firefox because I'm lazy haha.

I appreciate any input you have. Thanks Sherm.

Just wanted to give a big shout out to Henges24 for helping me out with my Firefox issue thru PM's. He helped me get it all figured out and working normally again so if anyone can rep him for me (I have to spread it around) I would appreciate it.

And thanks to all the other guys who offered a hand too. You guys are the best!

I don't want to change the subject, but I didn't want to start a new thread for this question.

I am tired of using TWC modem and was wondering what modem you guys recommend. The modem TWC has given me goes in and out all the time on my XBOX one. I have a WD Net N750 or N900 (I can't remember exactly) wireless router already and want the best modem that will connect with the router?

The other question is, should I got my own modem or should I just call TWC and trade in the one they gave me? I'm just tired of relying on them and waiting for service people. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can buy a modem or a modem/router combo and return the one TW gave you. I'm pretty sure they charge you a monthly fee to use their modem that they'll take off your monthly bill, something like $6 a month. I also think they have a list of compatible equipment somewhere on their site.

Edit: it's actually $8 a month to lease the modern so almost $100 a year. You'd have it paid off in a little over a year depending on what you bought.

I've been thinking about ditching my TWC modem as well and buying one from the store...mostly because I'm tired of TWC nickel and dime-ing me every month for using their crappy modem. Let me know if you end up buying one, Monk.

Only problem with using your own modem will be when you do have problems, they will see its not there equipment and blame your modem. This is coming from a TW tech I know, they are not supposed to troubleshoot problems that is not involving there equipment.

Being a TW tech which modem do you believe is most compatible with the TWC system?

To be honest, I'd rather take a chance with my own modem at this point. When I have had network problems over the last 10 years it's usually an issue with the router and not the modem.

I'm assuming you have cable modem service. Not all cable modems are available to the general public, but there are quite a few available. Arris, Cisco and Motorola all make reliable modems. I purchased an Arris so I wouldn't have to keep paying Comcast. I've had it for over a year and it's been great. Haven't had to reboot yet. Here's a link to a site that will help you pick one.

Thanks for the site. I just picked up a Motorola/Arris SB6141. I will report back on how it works in a couple of days.

There is one site that I cannot get to load in Chrome or IE. It gives a ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT error.

I had this problem with wifi and then plugged my ethernet cord in my laptop and it worked for about 2 weeks. Then started to give the same error. So I got a modem/router replacement by Time Warner and the site worked for about 5 days.

Today I was on the site and then it popped the same error. Spent 2 hours on the phone with TWC only to have them tell me they couldnt figure it out.

Any tips?

Sounds like a job for Computer Man:

That's one of the better models. I think it's designed for gaming so you shouldn't have any issues with speed.

Just to follow up. I went to install my new modem which consisted of calling TWC and activating my modem. It took and hour and neither person I talked to could figure out why there system would not recognize it. When I got done with the phone call I turned on the TV and the cable was out. Apparently at the exact moment I called to activate my modem, my booster failed. The TWC tech came the next day and changed it out and the modem worked great. I am very happy with the purchase.

One interesting thing the tech told me was: if we turned in the TWC modem to take it off our bill, TWC would void the current rates we have and the bill would actually be more. I have not called TWC yet because I don't want to be on the phone for another hour, but make sure you talk to someone at TWC and ask them specifically how your bill will be affected by returning your modem.

That would suck, but I don't think they can do that unless it's in the fine print. Comcast didn't change my rates when I stopped using their modem.

I'm in Mexico on business for the week and did not come prepared to deal with not having access to HBOGo, Netflix, even ESPN. I know there is something I can do to bypass all of these access blocks but I have no idea what to do. Any free VPNs out there? And if there are how do I go about using one?

Reps are any help!

I've been thinking about doing it for years, but I've been toying with the idea recently of going to a water cooled PC. I've looked around a little bit online and custom loops seem ridiculously overpriced for what they do and what's involved. If I'm understanding it correctly, we're talking about a basic pump, radiator, resevoir, water block/heatsink, and some fittings and pipes. It's not rocket science, yet a custom loop seems to go for hundreds of dollars. Has anyone found a more economical way to do a mostly water/liquid cooled system? I'm not overly concerned with connecting my RAM and SSDs, I really just want to do the CPU and GPU. I know there's some nifty small, closed kits that are ready to go out of the box for just the CPU or GPU, and that's a route I would probably take. Has anyone used these, or found an economical custom loop manufacturer?

Will post later. Just spent 3 hours doing my Napa Valley vegetable version of a habanero tomato paste based shish kabob recipe I got from my Rwandan refugee chef friend. Also, some "moonshine".

Notable: Autocorrect helped me 5 times. This shine is skrong.
