What are people's thoughts on CJ as an NFL prospect? Durability is a concern because of his running style, but he's got NFL speed and has shown an uncanny ability to run between the tackles, particularly for a guy that's played RB all of 3 games.

I think he'd fit best as a slot guy where he can motion in and out of the backfield.

Much more explosive Theo Riddick? I think Joe Mixon and CJ are the same players. Expect CJ doesn't sucker punch women to feel like a man

Mid-round pick, future starter potential.

Wish he were more aggressive getting through the hole, but to me he honestly looks just like AP once he gets about 8+ yards downfield. Never a wasted motion and looks effortless picking up yards in the open field.

Doesn't really have a RB build. Idk if he could gain muscle and keep his biggest asset, his speed

La'veon Bell 6'1", 226 lbs, he's pretty good with that size. Very comparable?

C'mon!

CJ more aggressive through the hole? Watch the film. On most plays he works his blockers like a seasoned pro. Others he is using speed that is so deceptive that it may not show well on film, except that defenders are no longer around him.

The kid is almost 230 lbs, and the only guy I have seen this year that may be faster is Will Fuller!

I would say he's got great patience. When the line does it's thing, he hits hard and fast.

This is pretty much exactly how I described Prosise to my buddy the other day.

Soooo, CJ should only see about 10 carries on Saturday.

Kizer should be throwing early and often against an overmatched UMass secondary, in order to build reps and iron some things out ahead of the October gauntlet. Once Kizer and co. have done enough damage, with just enough CJ mixed in to keep him warmed up, Adams and Williams should take over and act like workhorses through the second half.

(This is ND. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a closely-contested 14-point win against an opponent that should get blown out, and we'll need CJ to carry the ball 25 times, because that's all that's working. He'll be banged up and not quite fresh enough to hurt Clemson, because that's how things work for ND.)

Lol i could see BK using the UMass game to get the likes of Carlisle, Corey Robinson and Brown more targets in the passing game which will cause lots of grumbling on here because some of the freshmen aren't been involved :D

I'd love to see BK get CJS touches as primary KR, and a few looks in the slot during the UMASS game. Just not feeling Amir.

Man CJ has been sensational! He has really bailed us out with all the injuries and craziness at the position this year. I hope he goes in this week, does his thing, and then gets to rest up by the third quarter. It never seems to happen this way, but one can hope lol.

This would be nice. From what we have seen from Sanders at PR, he is clearly the best return man we have had since either Tate or Zibby, whichever you prefer. He has the wiggle and explosiveness to be a threat every time he touches the ball.

I would like to see CJ run lite, DeShone do some things in the UMass game to make Clemson think, that possibly result in points fast, so Brandon Wimbush can get in with an "elite speed package." You know four plays like Novocain, just keep drillin'! It's bound to work sooner or later! In the meantime a talented freshman gets some experience, and the clock runs down!

To be honest it doesn't look like he's moving that fast to me but every time he gets into the open we routinely see him running away from the defense. Dude must be flying

I'm not a big fan, probably just being a pud.

There is no reason to call the possible Heisman winner a "her" on a picture of CJ. Fournette is a stud, like really good. CJ is a stud too and he is super good as well.

Just don't understand why? When it is all said and done, CJ's production will speak for itself.

He flies when he gets a chance to open it up and run.

Could he run a sub 4.4?

He's a long strider that would prolly need technique work to peak in the 40. He's the type that's prolly faster on the field than at the combine. I'm gonna totally guess and say 4.5's

I'm not trying to be controversial at all just see a stud athlete who is only going to get better

Come on man, reeeeeeally?. It's a silly meme that's floating around Facebook. If it offends the majority's sensibilities here or if we're afraid Coach Miles will use it for bulletin board material, by all means take it down. I'll laugh at it on Facebook. I don't know how SNL stays on the air in today's PC climate.

What does PC mean? I watched the South Park last week and they kept saying PC and it seemed like being culturally sensitive, but I missed the meeting.
