My suggested scoring.

1 PPR
6 Pts per TD at all positions
2 Pts per 100 yds passing
1 Pt per 10 yds

You guys are cray.

Fantasy is best simple.

1 keeper. PPR. 12 teams. Done...

I agree. I actually don't mind small tweaks (I like .5 ppr because it's a good compromise between ppr and non-ppr), but bonuses are THE WORST. There is no reason for it since you get credit for the underlying production in the first place. If your guy goes off for 200 rushing yards, that's already awesome for you; it doesn't need to be extra awesome. That guy already got you a ton of points. In reality, 305 passing yards is 1 point better than 280 passing yards. That is legit. It shouldn't be 4 or 6 points better. It isn't an accurate reflection of how guys performed relative to one another.

I actually agree with Rhode Irish. Here is my vote:

1 keeper
.5 ppr
No bonuses
4 or 5 point passing TD

That is daffy passing yardage scoring. When you go with nontraditional scoring you are just needlessly complicating the drafting process by requiring people to calculate how the scoring tweak will impact player value versus what they are used to. Instead of determining who has the best football knowledge the league will decide who is the best at math. That's not really fun for anyone.

Exactly this and for exactly that reason. Standard Yahoo scoring except PPR.

Why are QBs only given 4 pts per TD and everyone else 6? Not for just this league, but I see it in a lot and I've never understood it.

We should have the right number. Im still waiting for GK Ironman and one other to accept

Probably because QBs are much more likely to have multi TD games

From a lot of trial and error, I have found this to be best. It's your league though, so just my $.02.

PPR expands the pool in direct correlation to production. It makes sense. But adding complexity for the sake of complexity doesn't. It just makes it tough to track your points without constantly having your phone stuck in your face. I would rather watch the game.

QBs score so many TDs, 6 pts places too much of a premium on them. It evens out the scoring a bit with 4. That's why i like .5 ppr too. It doesnt tend to overvalue WRs.

I'm sorry, but this is exactly what I'm talking about. QB's all have the same opportunity to score TD's, so weighting them is no better than weighting every position on how often they score TD's. Should TE's get more points? Should points be weighted on where you drafted the player? When does it end?

Do you guys ever want to be able to calculate your points without a calculator?

I accepted. I don't have IE access at work, so I wasn't privy to the last minute changes you scallywags slipped in.

Also don't care what you all pick as far as rules. It's all good to me homies.

Most standard scoring that i have played is 4 pts for QB. I would think this is more the norm and that 6 pts is more unique.

4 pts is the standard yahoo model

One humble suggestion I would throw out there is less that 90seconds per pick. 12 team 1.5 min per pick makes for a long draft...

I don't give a fuq if it's standard. I'm just telling you it's unnecessary. Make all TD's the same and you're life is much easier.

Could we draft Thursday instead?

Thursday isn't great for me and one other for sure. Is there a better time tomorrow for you?

Do you carry around an abacus? How are you counting into the 120s in your head anyways?
