Interesting gesture choice. Isn't that universal for "silent"?

So Stanford is the main competition here. Okeke basically said he would have committed if he didn't also want to check out Stanford.

Weird that they're in on a safety that we want. That almost never happens.......

Of Studstill, Okeke and Macho Chacho, who looks to have the best upside at FS? Hudl doesn't work for me so I have no film on them.

Studstill in my opinion is the best of the group you provided. Then I'd rank Okeke ahead of Ulloa.

Out of the 3, I'd say Studstill looked the best at II but I'm basing my opinion on a 3 minute video. Per TJ, the staff is taking 4 safeties so I doubt Okeke loses his spot and a safety group of Elliot, Studstill, Okeke, and Ulloa is a strong possibility

I like this kid a lot and I hope we land him. ND being closer to home and having more opportunity at playing time should put us over the top. He has nice length could play corner or safety.

I haven't seen much about him recently but I hope we're still recruiting him fairly hard. I know the staff likes the S board, as of now so do I, but this is one of those Edwards/Reid scenarios from last year where we need to continue contact even if they aren't takes right now.

"Notre Dame has been pushing pretty hard," said Okeke. "Coach Brian Kelly and coach Mike Elston have been in touch. They've been checking in and seeing where I stand with them. I told them I wanted to take an official visit."
"They are really high on my list," said Okeke. "

WAS CLOSE to pulling trigger at II---all of this per 247

All of Okeke's CB's are for ND now FWIW

Apparently the reason Wiltfong didn't have his in was because he was unsure if he was take going into his OV. If he wants to jump on board, he is indeed a take. If he doesn't decided to end it that weekend, I could see Wiltfong changing his CB to foggy as it would seem like somebody else will. Okeke is a guy they like but aren't holding a spot for. Nobody has taken that spot as of the writing of this.

Scout: visiting Bama this weekend (no offer). His younger brother, Nick (2017 safety), will visit for USC as well. Nick commented that Tennessee runs third behind ND and Stanford.

Scout: visiting Bama this weekend (no offer). His younger brother, Nick (2017 safety), will visit for USC as well. Nick commented that Tennessee runs third behind ND and Stanford.

Here's the article: Scout: Irish eye Okeke brothers

Junior safety Nick Okeke will join his brother Ikenna Okeke at Notre Dame next weekend. The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder has drawn interest from the Irish and several others.

Junior safety Nick Okeke will get his first look at Notre Dame next weekend when he accompanies his brother, three-star senior safety Ikenna Okeke, on an official visit to South Bend.

Nick Okeke isn’t just tagging along with his brother. He earned an invitation to attend the game.

“I’ve been in communication with some of the coaches and they wanted me to come,” said the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder from Smyrna, Tenn. “I communicate with Mike Elston. I sent in my film and I’m going to go up for a game. He likes my film. Once I get up there for a game I’m sure he’s going to tell me how he feels about me and all the details as far as my recruiting up there. So far he likes my film and wants me to get up there for a game.”

The Okeke brothers will make an unofficial visit to Alabama this weekend. Ikenna Okeke was scheduled to take an official visit to Missouri but that trip could be off following the Tigers landing a commitment from three-star safety Demarkus Acy on Oct. 5.

“He was supposed to be going to Missouri this weekend but now I don’t know,” Nick Okeke said. “He said there was a commitment and there was a lot of things that happened so he doesn’t feel like going down there this weekend for an official.”

Last weekend, the Okekes visited Auburn and they both have been to Tennessee. Nick hopes to return to Alabama later this fall for the Crimson Tide’s game against LSU.

“I might go back up to Alabama for the LSU game,” he said. “I think that’s going to be a really good game. I’m just playing it as I go.”

Nick is being recruited as a strong safety or nickel back, although he’s yet to land his first offer.

“I’ve been told I’m not done growing so it all depends on how it works out,” he said.

He also plays running back at Smyrna High but he’s better suited for defense at the next level.

Through seven games, Smyrna is 5-2 and Nick Okeke is among his team’s top tacklers.

“The season is going pretty good,” he said. “I’m pretty sure I’m like second on the team in tackles. Our middle linebacker has like 43 and I have 30 or 34, something like that. I just fly around and get to the football to make plays. I like coming downhill to make the big hit but I can drop back and cover. I’m all over the field.”

Ikenna Okeke has 24 tackles and leads his team with 448 yards on 32 catches.

Nick Okeke has learned a lot from watching his brother play football. He also picked up some tips on how to handle the recruiting process.

“I just learned the do’s and don’t’s of how to talk to people and what not do on social media,” he said. “I have to keep my grades up and stuff. There’s a lot of things.”

Gave an interview to BGI in which he openly talks about wanting to make a decision soon. Also, Loy thinks there is a possibility he decides this weekend. So if there is going to be another guy on commit watch, it looks like Ikenna is a good bet.

How many more DB's do we take? We seem to lead for Demetris RObertson but he could also play WR? David long seems to be intrigued by us? We still are filling out Fuller and Hamlin?
