The Internet is going to break.TV spoiler.....
BENJEN AND SYRIO????????????
Show Reek didn't feel powerful enough to me. Reek 1 was one of the most messed up pieces of literature I've ever read. Show Walk of Shame nailed it.So glad that Jon pic was not 100% accurate.
Lena Headey Emmy?

Walk of Shame was clearly the highlight of the episode. Was glued to the TV.
So to recap where we are with book vs. show...
1. Daenarys and Tyrion storylines are relatively accurate and without major spoilers.
2. Brienne is alive in the show and her story was altered significantly.
3. Stannis is presumably dead in the show but alive in the books.
4. Jon's storyline is relatively accurate.
5. Sam is headed to the Citadel like in the books.
6. Arya's story is relatively accurate.
7. Sansa has taken over Jeyne Poole's story with Theon.
8. King's Landing--relatively accurate.
9. Jaime--who knows
10. Dorne--who knows
Looks accurate?
Well we know Dorne is going to war for sure now, just not because of Faegon rallying the banners.
I also like Tyrion taking control of Mereen in Dany's absence, since Selmy isn't around to do it. It makes sense, and was bound to happen, but it's nice to see confirmation hat he will be crucial to Dany's plans in the books for sure (again, not that there was actually any doubt).
Also, it's very clear that Melisandre is bringing Jon back, at least more so than ever. In the books, you wonder where her motivation to do so would come from. But the show has made it clear that she now has nowhere else to turn.
Starting to wonder if the Bolton banners burning was a correct premonition but it's going to be a Wildling army led by Jon Snow doing it instead of Stannis?
Also, ya'll know we aren't gonna get confirmation that Jon lives until S6E10, right?
There will be a "previously on..." that shows Thoros and Mel talking about The Lord's Breathe" before the finale, and then we'll see her gingerly walking Jon Snow out from whatever nook/cranny she finds for his body.
OK, so I guess it's safe for the non-readers to view this thread lol. So when does book 6 come out? Christmas? Trying to decide if want to read all the books now during the break.

Yeah...about that....

Melisandre’s point of view chapter in "A Dance With Dragons." She thinks to herself, “I pray for a glimpse of Azor Ahai, and R’hllor shows me only Snow.”
That's kind of what I've heard... but given that they say HBO will run S6 next year, Christmas seems the logic money grab release date.

That Myrcella death got me more than anything. Damn. You know her and Tommen have to die at some point... but that was just so rough.
Thought they did the Jon scene well. Also liked how they handled Theon. And Cersei.
Really, just a super well put together episode. I need the 6th book badly.
Ser Robert Strong? That's zombie Gregor Clegane.Anybody know who that large dude is?

Even Gregore “The Mountain” Clegane was only mostly dead, returned now as Ser Robert Strong, the newest addition to the King’s Guard, and Cersei’s new champion when she invariably chooses trial by combat.
My one complaint was that the combination of the Walk of Shame and Jamie's talk with Myrcella seemed to have a very "incest-is-kewl-and-shame-on-you-for-ever-thinking-otherwise" message. That Myrcella death got me more than anything.
