I dont see Fink having the ability to WR at the high FBS level. He has mobility so he isnt a Tommy Rees pocket, but he isnt a QB that you're going to run read option with on a consistent basis. Fink is a kid that plays smart, takes care of the ball and won't kill you. Can he develop into a game changer? Yes, he has a high ceiling and with good coaching can hit that. Running wise, from what I understand, his team didnt have good WRs and they needed him to be a runner. Like most schools, you're QB is going to be the best athlete.
In college, Fink is a guy similar to Dayne Crist skill set. Good arm, taller/longer QB and will beat teams with his arm vs running. He is a QB that will be able to get the first down running on 3rd and 4, if there is no one open, but he isn't going to take it 50 yards to house either.
I like the offer because you can take a more developmental QB this class because of Wimbush, Kizer and Zaire. Meaning, there is plenty of talent there and plenty of years on the team between the 3, so there isnt a rush to develop the 2016 QB.
I would also keep me eye on some QB's from Cali/Texas that Sanford has reached out too. Similar mold to Fink. They take care of the ball and have big arms, but they are a little bit more mobile than Fink.
