Na, he's in a small clan called Los Milagros that he and a few buddies started. They don't war or anything, and it's pretty quiet. I've been over there through the holidays since I've only had time to do a few raids a day.

Contemplating a clan switch, but unsure because I'm with a bunch of good friends (Philly C0rnhole). So we are able to hold each other accountable, especially during war, via text. Does the main clan have openings?

I think I'd know if he was in that clan or not, I'm still in there Yeah, he did disappear for about a week though to visit Rennagins. It's pretty quiet over here, but it's been nice during the holidays since there were some days where I couldn't really get on every day, so I would have been missing wars probably during the season. It was nice not having the pressure if I had to step away for real life.

So I used a reliable "3 starrer" during war and have recently been struggling to 3 star and even 2 star high level TH8s. I have Level 3 drags, healer. lev 5 wizards, Giants, archers, balloons. lightning. lev 4 rage, healing, hogs. Lev 2 PEKKA.

IM having difficulty with revamping my strategy. These Lev 6 Air Ds are owning me when they're tucked inside. And the increased hit points on storages ends up with my dragons taking to much damage while trying to take them out.

I've tried the 3 lightning spell to take out 1 AD and then sending in hogs to try to WIpe out the other 2 but it hasn't been effective lately. Any thoughts on a good troop make up that would guarantee a 2 star, and then maybe 3 star a high level TH8 more often than not?

I think lvl 6 AD is the cut off for what lvl 3 drags can handle. But if you use my army suggestion, you could probably 2 star the vast majority of th8 with 2 or more lvl 6 ADs. Make sure you spread drags out a bit when you drop them too. I've noticed it helps if you "bracket" them by first deploying 2 far apart and then the rest in a row in between those 2.

I've actually never purposefully attempted that bracket technique---need to try that. I moved up to #9 (out of 30) in our clan at level 80 and I usually let the 13-20 guys 3 star who they think they can get which leaves me with tougher bases with at least 2 lev 6 ADs. So I guess the question would be which ground troop/spell combo is best to handle a base with lev 6 ADs.


I miss the mass drag domination on TH7s when I was TH7 haha.

If you don't make it back to Renn come to Irish Prestige with your friends, we are struggling to find a solid group.

Also, I think I am going to dump my dragons entire entirely. Just too unpredictable and once you hit AD6s its useless. I'd say revise your strat now because once you hit TH9 its not going to be pretty.

Damn I was just checking you guys out. You've come a long way in the past year. I'm in a clan called Land of Busch with the same name as my username. Might have to think about jumping over to IR at some point. I've been playing since the game came out. Only a 95 though

So as your clan levels up with the new "family perks" clan upgrading system, you can reduce request wait time, add extra war loot storage, add extra war win bonuses, increase donation limits, and (most exciting) set troops to upgrade by one or two levels when they are donated.

There's no "official" announcement aside from a screen grab from a staff member on their forum, but the first comment after the post says it will be in an update tomorrow.

The screen grab says that you level up through Clan Wars participation, but I don't know if that means you need to win, or if you get so much XP simply for participating, or if XP is staggered based on clan/war size, etc.
