Ronnie Stanley vs FSU. Particularly 1 on 1 with Mario Edwards. You decide if he is ready.

8. Carolina Panthers -- Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame*: With the selection of Kelvin Benjamin and free agent addition of sure-handed veteran Jericho Cotchery, the Panthers addressed weapons for Cam Newton but failed to address the offensive line protecting him. They won't make the same mistake this year. Stanley is just a redshirt sophomore in his first season at left tackle but the 6-6, 315 pounder boasts an exciting combination of agility, balance and power.

If he can go top 10 I hope he leaves for his sake. That's incredible.

I doubt either is leaving early, especially not Day. Stanley will find it difficult to overcome the reputation the offensive line has this year, which is a mediocre unit. His measureables are good, but at this point last year, Martin had way more hype and actually lead a really good offensive line. He'd be very foolish to leave early, because honestly, I'd say he'd be lucky to get picked in the 3rd round. He hasn't really shown much at this point to warrant any higher.

Day is definitely not leaving, because while he's had a solid season, it's also been wildly unspectacular. On top of missing the last quarter of the season, which definitely doesn't help his draft stock.

There's just not enough of a body of work for either player at this point for it to warrant a high draft stock.

Day is for sure gone

Why would Day leave? Have not heard anywhere he would be a first round draft pick.

Talent aside, his injury history alone is enough to push him lower than he would already be slotted.

Day isnt a 1-3 round pick. Ive seen nothing that he has done to be dominating this year. Our best DL? Sure. But that isnt saying a whole lot either.

His first step and explosiveness will be a heavy coveted trait in the NFL. However, his lack of size and production are true concerns that will prevent him from being a top draft pick.

A great senior season could change that, if he chooses to stay, which I assume he will.

If he performed well at the combine I could see him going in the third. 3-techs are becoming pretty coveted.

I personally think that's a reach.

Day is not an elite DL. I bet anything he gets his degree and stays another year. I can't believe Stanley is in the top 10 of a mock draft. If he can go in the 1st round, he might as well go.

Hey, our OL in the NFL have done pretty dang well over the last 5 years. Martin is a stud, Watt has looked great, Trevor Robinson has done solid, Cave is hanging around (practice squad).

So, I think he has a very good shot at being a 1st round OLineman. He has all the tools.

If he does, it looks good for the program and helps us overall. But, then one of the young guns on the oline need to step up.

I will be stunned if Day leaves, and if he does leave, I will be stunned if he goes before the fifth round. He hasn't been All-American quality and has an injury history. I love Day as a player but I don't think the league will love him as much right now.

Yes, I love Day. Great kid, plays hard, and a great role model for ND. But, his being injury prone at a very tough position is a knock on him. And his height will hinder his NFL high draft stock, unless he was totally dominating. Will Sutton was a guy with similar height, but was an All American and was a 3rd round pick.

Day will be no higher than an 5th rounder if he came out. Just my opinion, but looking back at the last 4 or 5 drafts kinds of speaks volumes.

Has him at 9. So 2 different sports media sites now with him in the top 10.

9. Minnesota Vikings — Notre Dame OT Ronnie Stanley

Stanley is a fast-rising prospect who could find himself going this high because of the way he has played, even amid the Irish’s struggles the past month. Matt Kalil has struggled, but it’s too early to give up on him. Phil Loadholt has two more years on his contract extension left, but he has disappointed this season. Center John Sullivan is a building block, but the Vikings know they must build a foundation up front to protect Teddy Bridgewater.

I remember Teo and Quinn being projected first rounders and we saw how that turned out. I don't follow the NFL at all so I have no idea on what players other than those at ND enter the draft early, but has there ever been an OL that entered the draft after playing one season and been a first round pick let alone a top 10?

This is classic group think. Put in the film and he has top 10 upside, but played like a mid-round pick for most of the year.

Not a chance he gets drafted as high as he's currently getting mocked.

I'm not saying he should come out. I am good friends with an old member of his hs staff who claims it was Day's plan the whole time.

Don't forget John Sullivan. After a horrible senior season in 2007, he has been one of the best centers in the NFL

Yeah, talked to her and her mom for a while on the player walk. Honestly don't think she's as hot as you think though. And I have no standards so that's saying something.

She's really good looking until you get up close. Has to really pound that makeup to cover up some minor acne.

Would hit it though.

Yeah I can see that she pounds the make up on. This is probably the creepiest convo ever on IE

ND is putting a lot of good players in the league these days...good selling point to recruits.
