Alford was in to see him this morning and he's expecting to visit ND this spring. It seems pretty clear that he's being targeted as one of the top OL targets for us in 2016.

Coach Heistand was in Florida to visit Parker this week. Second week in a row that he's received a visit. We are definitely making him a priority and he knows it. He says that Heistand is "an awesome dude, and an even better coach." It sounds like a spring visit is a lock at this point.

Boudreaux Looking To Visit

Says he was surprised by Alford's departure like the rest of us, but says it will not be a factor. The staff has made it clear that he's their top priority for OL.

As far as visits go:

“We’re thinking about April-ish for a spring practice or something like that,” he said. “I just want to see the comfort, the people around the program, the academics and just really the comfort up there.”

Good stuff as always from ISD. It's early, but I'm optimistic about this kid.

That's great news! I haven't seen a finalized spring football schedule yet, but the Blue & Gold game is typically around the second weekend of April. That would mean he would miss all of the spring practices, which he said he wanted to see. But hey, an early visit is an early visit.

A bit further on pushing back his visit, from ISD: "I rescheduled my ND visit because Coach Hiestand said the best time will be in June. April 24th is not that good of a time because spring ball will be ended and it's exams, so no coaches will really be there."
