Offense looks fine. They're on pace to put up 50 points. Defense is a different story.

Yeah, but national embarrassment? That was when we went 3-9 6-6 6-6. That is national embarrassment. Ty's recruiting was a national embarrassment. This team isn't playing well, yes. But no way are we back to being a national embarrassment.

Also TOUCHDOWN! We just need the D to make a stop maybe make a quick score before half, and this could be like the Rice game. C'mon fellas, relax and cheer the team on!

Absolutely not. All the defender has to do is play the ball and not the receiver and it's not a penalty.

They've missed one, maybe two blocks all game. Brindza's had one bad punt and one great one. Their (brand new) holder bobbled one snap on a below freezing day. The D is a concern, but this team will be ok. NU is also not even close to one of the worst teams in the country. They haven't had a great year, but their talent level is good.

I sit here and cheer them on everyday they step on the field and if they lose 50-0 i would sit here and watch every min.

It SEEMS like this team doesn't care that they are struggling. They say we know how to fix some of these problems. Well quit saying it and do it.

Man this defense is hard to watch right now. The middle of the Defense is pretty much non existent. Same goes for the blitz. At some point Van Gorder is going to have to realize that the personell he is fielding aren't ready for the high stakes man coverage he's asking of them.
