I'd guess Shea Dixon since he's a non-ND guy that covers Tillery, but not sure.
Who/what is Sonny?![]()
With today's offenses featured backs went the direction of the Wooly Mammoth.
The sad thing is that BKs offense really works best with a featured RB. No one has ever really been able to put it all together and do it at ND.
Edit: I admit Riddick was the closest that I have seen but it wasnt for a whole season as he really hit his stride the last six games of 2012.
Thanks Kanye![]()

I thought the Jonas/Cierre Combo in 2011 was the best we saw.
Ok so what I am getting at is that BK basically runs the ball 30 times a game. He needs a RB that can block, catch the ball out of the back field, line up in slot and run the ball. As of yet, no one RB has ben able to do that. His offense works much better with the defense having to worry about one RB that can do all of that than multiple RBs who can only do some of it. That being said, Riddick was the only one I saw that could do all of that and it was only for the last half of one year when we could not pass the ball effectively and had a strong defense. Brosette wants to be a featured Rb. Well a featured RB in Bks offense needs to be able to do all of the above... A tall task for a freshman.
I know what you were getting at and agree for sure. Theo was great down the stretch in 2012.
Hopefully Brosette realizes it will take a lot of work and probably some time to develop and adapt in order to be THE featured back in BK's system. If he wants to be a guy that just pounds it all game long then maybe he'd be best going somewhere like Wisconsin or Stanford.
Don't get me wrong...I'd be more than happy to have him but maybe the complexities of what BK asks for in his RB's isn't what Brosette is wanting. Not many high school RB's can walk right in and do all the things BK wants them to do right off the bat in their freshman season...like you said. Or maybe he's willing to take the time to learn all those things and be a featured back later in his college career...like Theo.
Either way...I'd love to have him as long as he's willing to be patient and learn. I'm sure he's no idiot and I'm sure the coaches have told him a lot is asked to be a complete RB under BK.
Correct. Folston is so close IMO.

Per sources to TV, Nick won't end up a Tiger. Its ND or Texas in the end.

According to Steve, he has some family issues ( mothers health I believe) that defiantly benefits Texas due to proximity
Don't see Texas landing him they have 3 RB's already in this class.
Prediction: Dumps LSU at the last minute, Miles says he has no chest. Committs to ND and then transfers to Cincy? Amiright? DejaVu...
Anyone know if Strong is in the business of forcing lower ranked recruits to make room for the bigger dogs?
lol didn't A+M take like 7 WR's one year? I'm sure Strong has room
