It's my understanding once the ball is in the air engagement is not allowed. We two guys locked up while the ball was traveling.

I thought you are allowed full contact within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. Would be tough to say you can't touch them once the ball is in the air when they are that close to the line because you may be blocking them from blitzing or something.

They out coached BVG in the second half, FSU adjusted offensively, ND didn't adjust defensively. What makes this hurt the most is what a POS Fsu is. It's they way it goes, hopefully this doesn't start a trend and we fall on our face. Unfortunately, in my opinion what exactly do you play for at this point? I don't see a 1 loss ND team making it in the playoffs. Hopefully I'm wrong .

How far do we fall in the polls with games like Alabama killing A&M?

We shouldn't drop at all (I know we will though). In 1993, we switched places after we beat them. We're the better team. I hope the pollsters see that.

We should be the highest ranked 1 loss team (we won't be) because our loss was easily the "best." Alabama lost at home. Georgia lost to a garbage USCe team. Oregon got beat thoroughly be Arizona at home. MSU got housed by Oregon. And OSU lost to an unranked team. We should stat #5 at the very least.

Bottom line is that play happens multiple times a game in every game and doesn't get called. Exactly the way it happened. Correct call or not it was bullshit at that point in time.

Idk about distance or whether it matters about the goaline. I think if the ball is traveling they are gonna call it. The defender has the same right to the ball as we did.

Absolutely the right call, unfortunately. Even Lou admitted it. CJ didn't even come close to selling it. He got jammed and then just drove the FSU CB 10 yards.
