Brosette for Tillery...would you make the trade with LSU?
I wouldn't unless I knew we couldn't get Soso or someone comparable. Getting a 2nd RB in this class is more important than getting a 3rd OL.

I don't know if I've ever seen a kid committed to a school tweet a pic of himself in another team's uniform after a visit. Could be a good sign.

LSU commitment Nick Brossette moved into 10th place nationally for most career touchdowns (124) after he ran for three scores and 209 yards on 20 carries in a 28-7 win against Parkview Baptist on Thursday.
The 6-foot, 210-pounder from Baton Rouge (La.) U-High pushed his season totals to 945 yards and 10 scores on 96 carries.
Brossette, who committed to LSU 13 months ago, will take his first official visit this weekend as he heads to Notre Dame.
A source close to Brossette tells Geaux247 that the four-star back will visit Texas and LSU for sure, while Auburn, Florida State, Alabama and UCLA are under consideration for his final two visits.
Brossette is the No. 15 running back in the country and is No. 138 overall in the 247Sports Composite.
I am kind of leaning no. Our OL is not nearly as good as advertised. I think Tillery will be a much bigger need than previously thought. If we landed Soso definitely not.
It's too early to say that. The last 2 classes were outstanding for O-lines. These guys are freshmen and sophomores. They need some time to develop. I'm not worry that our O-line should be really good by next year.
That said, you take Tillery for sure.
Brossette as I don't think Tillery is as good as some may think. I'm as frustrated as most with Oline play but Tillery will not fix any of those issues. He won't be playing on the interior Oline. Our current OT's and the OT's behind them I think are all superior to Tillery. Plus, I like Eichenberg better next year at OT and we seem to be really setup there.
This brings up an interesting question: what does the near future of the interior OL look like? Who plays guard next year? Elmer? McGovern, Montelus, or Bars? Does Harrell start his senior season or get passed up? Does Bivin play center down the road? How about Byrne and Mustipher?
We have two firm interior commits this year in Hoge and Ruhland. Are we really okay with not taking an OT this year? I think we want Tillery to stick, regardless of what 2016 looks like.
Nelson will be one of the starting 5 next year.

McGlinchey, the staff is really big on cohesion and that's the only reason I think we haven't seen McGlinchey yet this season. I think we'll probably stay the course for this season and by next year he'll distinguish himself as one of the best 5
McGlinchey
Does anyone think Bivin could lock up center? I thought he played center or expected to play center at the next level? Did I imagine that?
"Brossette has taken one official visit to Notre Dame and has one to Texas on his agenda, and I won’t be surprised if you see something come out where he says he wants to open things up more and de-commit because he is truly torn on what to do. One thing that is a big factor that LSU has working against it is Brossette wants to be a feature back and that is going to be tough to do at LSU with Leonard Fournette having two years left and with Derrius Guice in this class. I don’t feel that it has anything to do with competition, rather just a crowded backfield looking less appealing. I’m not going to say that Brossette isn’t going to be a part of this class, but more than ever, I think it’s growing more and more unlikely."
Who is it you are quoting? Interesting quote.
It is interesting. I googled the quote and got one hit. Someplace called Irish Envy.
