Martin has the advantage of playing against a weak run defense, but the disadvantage of playing for Tampa Bay. Even so, I trust him to put up decent yards/score a TD more so than Cooks, Crabtree or Tate.

Need advice. Should I start Emmanuel Sanders and Percy Harvin and bench Megatron? That sounds weird but I think his ankle is worse than being let on. And if not which of the former mentioned should I start as I already aged Nelson on Thursday? I would never want to put Johnson I the bench but I can't afford a repeat offer week.

I'd start Megatron and Sanders. It's a valid concern about the ankle, but I'd never bench Megatron if he is active.

Outstanding, thanks brotha!

Not that you needed any more advice, but the Lions RB situation this weekend looks shaky at best, so they will need to throw. Bell and Theo were not practicing today, tho Megatron did practice. I wouldn't expect him to be 100%, but I would expect him to be better than last week.

No, I'll take all the advice I can get. I have a great team this year, but I'm still 2-2. Some breaks just didn't go my way. Appreciate it bro!

If they use Megatron as a decoy like they did last week I'll be pretty pissed. Wish they could just give clarification on his status before gametime.

Me too. That's the tough part about this as they can't divulge any game plan stuff. I mean he literally was why I lost last week, well and my Pats D but that was a tough loss.

I'm a Lions fan, and have Megatron in a league, and I'm considering benching him. They brought Tate in for a reason. And it showed last week. Megatron was simply the decoy. I don't think they can get away with playing it the same way this week, but don't expect much more than a possession WR if he plays, and for him to only get the ball if he's the only open WR. Coach said today, him sitting out is possible this weekend.
As far as the RB sotuation, Bush came to Detroit wanting to be a work horse. He would have no problem shouldering the entire running load. They don't run that much anyway. And I'm pretty sure they have a full back on the roster who can take some snaps.

Oh man, now I'm even more confused lol. Appreciate the info though! Who are your other WR's?

I'm really thin at RB (my best is Martin) so I'm thinking of trading away either Megatron or Graham for Charles. My other WRs are Brown, Crabtree and Tate. Thoughts?

I have Crabtree, Bryant, Colston, and Harvin. It's only an 8 team league so our rosters are a bit more stacked.

My only worry this year with Megatron as opposed to last is th e coach. Last year it seemed to be a Megatron plays at all costs even with one leg approach because he knew if he didn't win he was done. And last year that was the only player on the team that could win a game for them. This year with Tate there and a better D, and the coach not coaching for his job, he can sit him if need be.

Wow your team is pretty good! Antonio Brown? and Tate have been showing out and if Kap can turn it around Crabtree could blow up. If you can get Charles though and he stays healthy would be huge! If CJ gets back quick I wouldn't trade and Graham is Brees's go to so that would be hard to let go of either. I can certainly see your dilemma here. I will say this though, when Charles is healthy he is a monster that gets the entire game plan revolving around him.

It also depends upon your scoring setup. That league for me is 6 for a TD and 1 for every 25 yd. No PPR. I like Harvin this year because he's now not only their top WR, he returns punts, and they set up running plays for him. So it's a toss up between hoping the best WR in the game plays and plays well or hoping a 2nd tier guy has a decent game.

That's interesting. The Lions are pretty good this year and should make a run towards the playoffs. If he can sit him he just needs to let us know lol. I do agree though, you have a lot more weopons and the perfect gunslinger to get them the ball.

Thanks for the advice! And yup, Antonio Brown. That's why I'm not hesitant to trade away CJ.

Brown is an absolute stud! I have a comparable roster in terms of WR's, my QB is Peyton, but I have been scrounging the WW to find a RB. I do have Bradshaw but then it's hit or miss. Knile Davis, Ivory, Hill, and I am waiting on Ingram to get healthy. That is my real problem, figuring out which RB's to start.

Tate has been a bit iffy this week too hasn't he?

@yankeeND and all other Megatron owners:

via Yahoo:
The Detroit Free Press reports "the expectation" is Calvin Johnson (ankle, questionable" will play Sunday against Buffalo.

Advice: The report comes via Dave Birkett, one of the best and most cautious beat reporters in the nation. He wouldn't just throw this up without good info. Coach Jim Caldwell may have been playing it coy Friday by suggesting Megatron wouldn't suit up against the Bills. Either way, Calvin owners should have him dark-penciled into their fantasy lineups and check back Sunday morning to confirm.

Just heard pretty much the same thing on the local radio shows. Looks like he is gonna play.

Forsett, Reggie Wayne, Ben Tate, or Donnell in a 1/2 PPR?

I'm leaning towards Wayne

I like either Wayne or Donnell. I'm in a standard league, but Donnell is my TE1 and I feel like he is just starting to emerge as a top 5 at the position.

I have Jimmy Graham otherwise I would start him at TE. I'm very tempted but I feel like Atlanta might make it a priority to stop him after last week.

In that case I would definitely go with Wayne. He is old steady eddy. By the way, what the hell is going on with the Saints?

Bob, I have this terrible torn feeling right now. You see, I really like you. You're always positive, you make me chuckle, and you rep me frequently. But, I really resent you right now and I'm not sure what to do with my resentment. I fear this may cause an irreparable riff.

What, you ask, could have happened that would cause me to be forming a grudge, the likes of which could end a message board friendship?

I will tell you, Bob. THIS HAPPENED:

Never in my life have I had to "share" a result with my opponent! Fantasy football is about crushing another person and talking shit about your superior management skills and knowledge of the League! There is a gentleman's that I submit to this possibility and in exchange I get to thrash you. What are Bkess and I supposed to do now? Who won?

Bob, I'm very disappointed, and I have aimed this disappointment towards you because you are the commissioner. I would like a formal response, preferably in the form of an apology, in which you explain yourself and this league you're running where ties are a thing. And if you could either declare a winner or announce a tie breaker for Bkess and yours truly to participate in, then I may be able to move past my resentment.

As much as I suggested not starting Megatron, even being a Lions fan, I started him. And it will most likely cost me a win. Sonofabitch
