I think more people are pumped about Crawford, whereas Coleman's tape isn't as electric

We are watching different tape. Both kids look great to me. Coleman has incredibly surprising speed, in my opinion.

Recruit speed and let luck follow!

I dont think that's totally accurate. Many of the brightest football minds on here were excited for Tranquill's flip. He was a 4 :s: on some services with undeniable athleticism and insticts.

I think just about everyone is pumped for Coleman.

Agreed, there was a large faction of us that liked Tranquill from the beginning. I'll give kudos to Josh Hemboldt at Rivals who was very very early to this one.

Looking back over this thread, I would love to hear how Pat would try to justify Tranquill's early success and/or take away from it, since he argued so vehemently against offering this particular 3:s: recruit.

I disagree - I think Coleman's tape is pretty electric. He is my favorite sleeper in the 2015 class. Love his film.

Agree with this. Honestly can't think of a kid we've recruited under BK who looks so fluid out there. His hips are just stupid. He cuts and accelerates at the same time like its just effortless.

Great punt block and a great late pickup by the staff. If Tranquil continues to fill out, he may be an OLB for us. He appears to have the athleticism to cause problems.

It isn't working cause he deleted it.

Well... I wouldn't imagine Steve would put together a whole story if he didn't think it was true. Maybe took it down cause Justin wanted to make the announcement himself?

I honestly would not be able to remember a more athletic trio of LBs at ND. All can do everything - run, cover and tackle.

The cupboard is stocked for 2015.

First, James Onwualu isn't going anywhere. With another year he is going to be hard to beat out. His game against Navy was incredible. We don't have a current linebacker that has ever played better against Navy.

The best thing I have heard about Tranquil lately was BK at the press conference. He said DT was "an unsung hero of the defense." Strong words that mean something coming from BK.

It was also interesting that BK talked about training him for one of the roles he has filled, for next year. And BK's example was as a nickel back. That is huge. And there are quite a few implications from this if you think about it!

That is excellent news. If I am not mistaken we saw a lot of Tranquil against Navy on the edge, or am I misremembering?

Also, I don't think Greer Martini will be able to be kept out of the middle of the mix. He is already too good. If he develops, he has a chance to be incredibly specia.

He'll soon be making terrible music?

I know it was Navy But he was right where he needed to be almost every single time. I want to see some more of him before i praise him too high.
