I really hope we take Alize (sp?) only to stick it to Mora. UCLA will be exposed soon enough, if they haven't already.

Mora's built his team outside-in, like Fat Charlie. BK started inside-out...with the big boys.

In summary, he's Irish. Those are his exact words, actually. UCLA still contacts him and says to check them out because they're close, but he sounds all ND.

Regardless, Sanders showed that he could not only compete, but excel against some of the best prep talent in the nation. He also showed the kind of playmaking ability that could be a compliment to players like Fuller and Hunter Jr. as early as next season.

The most surprising things about this kid for me :

Thing One. This kid can deliver a blow. If you watch his tape he gets the best of the defensive backs that stop him, more often than not. Let alone the Tyler James quote above.

Thing Two. This kid was a middling three star per the services before Kelly came calling. A lot of people were very ambivalent about his commitment. Then within a short time of his promise, between camps, and the Opening, let alone moving his stage to the lights in SoCal, he blows up! Now there are "talking heads" that are calling him one of the best and most undervalued in the nation. What kind of recruiting mojo does Kelly and Company have?

TOUT | Cole Klayman finds CJ Sanders for 10 yard TD with 30 seconds left as Notre Dame beats Chaminade 41-38.

The video to his game winning TD reception with 30 seconds left last night. CJ fights the DB the last few yards to get into the end zone. Really impressive finish!

Sanders, now ranked the No. 280 player in the nation, has wasted little time making an impact at his new school, showing he's among the most explosive players in the country. Every time the Notre Dame commitment touches the ball, you hold your breath a little in anticipation he could take it the distance.

Sanders clocked a 4.32-40 at The Opening over the summer and that speed has been on display in every game this year. He has also shown he can take a hit and isn't afraid to go over the middle and make the touch catch. In college, he projects as an ideal slot guy and a dangerous punt/kick returner as well.

He's now the #39 WR on Scout, which I believe is still far too low.

Spotting Notre Dame fourteen points and two on-side kick recoveries, the Carmelite Celts ran thru and around C J Sanders team. Crespi has some division 1 talent. Irish vs Celts - internecine conflicts always turn out bad.
