I'm hoping for an ugly game with a UT win. Hopefully cross UCLA off his list and Texas goes on to suck afterwards anyways.

Yes, one of the few times I'll be rooting for Texas not to $hit the bed.......

Folston Bryant and Soso OMG just nasty. Imagine if we had a certain RB from North Carolina but he decided his girlfriend was more important. That is a heck of RB corp. We are going after the studs in the backyards of the powerhouses to get these guys too.

Aggies are going to start going after Jamabo again after their recruiting coordinator was at his latest game.

Was scared of this, always seemed he was waiting on something and this could be it. Going to be interesting how this turns out, I would bet he visits A&M in the near future. Hoping our efforts and the amount of time we have stayed on him will win out but this was the one team that made me nervous if they engaged which it appears they are going too

Hopefully he visits for the OleMiss or LSU game and TAMU gets pounded.

We can hope, Texas A&M is killing Texas recruiting right now and add in the fact that their commits seem to be a tight nit group that recruit other recruits heavily, this could be a major problem.

Kyler Murray worries me, he mentions their relationship all the time even when A&M wasn't part of the picture. I would be very surprised if he doesn't visit them at least once.

It's hard to fault a football-first offensive skill recruit who chooses Oregon or aTm. Both schools offer a prolific system and a big stage that is guaranteed to launch you into the NFL if you put in the work.

Hopefully Soso values some of the things that make ND unique.

Yep, my thought was we needed to wrap it up on his official and it doesn't appear that is going to happen. I don't think we land him if he takes the A&M visit, I am sure I will get blasted for that opinion but I don't see him turning them down if he goes on the visit especially with A&M being local and a large amount of his friends there.

might depend a bit on what his folks think about his local friends....

Football first is the key, he has stated in the past that he truly gets the difference between UCLA, A&M, etc. and ND but he hasn't decided which experience he wants. Understanding it is the first step but that doesn't mean he takes the next step. Currently wondering if we are too all in on Soso right now. May need to look at picking up interest in other options soon.

True but Texas A&M wasn't actively recruiting him there for awhile so hard to say where his parents stand on this because A&M wasn't an option, now they are. I want him here as bad as everyone else but this is the one school that I thought could overtake us if they engaged, hopefully I am wrong but the way Texas A&M has recruited Texas has got me nervous

No need to keep hedging. Your concern seems justified.

We're in good shape. We made our best impression. If he ultimately goes in a different direction, it wsa not meant to be...

+1. Will be surprised if he ends up Irish, but if he does it will be the best decision he ever makes. He had a great weekend to visit, let time take its course.

That'll be a shot if we don't land him. He has a near perfect depth chart in front of him, a near perfect OL on paper, if we can't land a top 10 RB then we have issues.

If we have a good season, we'll land another quality RB, whether it is Soso or someone else.

Thanks just don't want to appear as a Debbie downer

Its recruiting......and it is what it is. ND fights hard for kids, and we win some, and we lose some. There's almost always no assurances when it comes to recruiting and what goes through 18 yr olds minds. Hell, I've got a 7 yr old, and I'd like to know what goes through his mind half of the time.......little smart ass!!!

I wonder if having someone like Henry join from 2016 would help here since it sounded like he could pop before any other 2015 recruits on offense. Elite RBs usually don't start off on the 5 year plan though so it might not be much of a factor.

I couldn't agree more. Not sure about the rest of you but I certainly wasn't expecting Folston and Bryant to pop when they did. Moral of the story is just win!

Way I see it, ND has built a HUGE lead. A&M has the potential to move in, but the way it seems, he's pretty keen on leaving the state. They'd have to pull of a miracle to possibly top that visit to the Michigan game. It'd definitely help if our run game erupted starting this week. So far, it's been pretty underwhelming. I say this also, because A&M tends to pass a lot more in their offense than ND. Generally not a feature RB offense, whereas ND's seems more flexible around what position is featured. Right now, I like ND's chances after that huge visit, but A&M has me a bit nervous.

I was more impressed by that video than his entire previous year's highlight tape. He seems to have the "bend" that makes allows him to be agile in space, yet maintain his speed. The only negative I see is that he still doesn't look that physical, but is definitely a stud.
