Notre Dame Shamrock Selection 2016.

The Irish football program is as organized as any in the country when it comes to mailers for top recruiting targets, and come Sept. 1 when college coaches can first reach out to prospects in the class-of-2016, Brian Kelly and his staff will be prepared.

They’ve been working on it for weeks.

The Shamrock Selection will garner a lot of attention on Sept. 1 when many of the nation’s best high school football players in the junior class take a look in their mailbox and find a package postmarked from South Bend.

Players like the nation’s No. 1 quarterback Malik Henry are going to find 129 pieces of mail, representing what would be their class, the 129th recruiting class at Notre Dame. The Irish staff is sending 129 points that separate their program from the others.

Per TV, they expect the ND staff to be extremely busy on Sept. 1st which is the first day they can contact the 2016 class. Expect to see a lot of #NDSS16 posted all over twitter.

2016 might have the most heads up OSU/ND battles since Meyer got to OSU. It should be fun to watch. We have a solid shot at all.

Notre Dame along with Florida State, Missouri, LSU, Texas Tech contacted 2016 QB Brandon Peters. Wiltfong likes this kid quite a bit and it looks like some other schools do as well.
