Why do so many Notre Dame "fans" expect the worst our of every recruit and assume no one wants to be here? We make fun of USC for reporting the "heroic" acts of a player without checking the facts yet we have many people do the same thing with our recruits. I'm not wanting anyone to be overconfident and think there are no problems, but damn...can we try and be a little supportive of the recruits and not assume everyone wants to flip?

South Oak Cliff could not contain the running attack of Cedar Hill. Running back Aca'cedric Ware(USC verbal) accounted for 209 yds and 4 TD on 25 carries. Score was 35 - 34 into the third quarter when Cedar Hill took over - final score 56 - 34. Buckle up Prentice, DeSoto in two weeks.

Everyone gets on NDSean about being so over the top positive...which I agree he usually is...but as soon as I make a blanket statement about some people being overly critical and assuming the worst when it comes to recruiting thinking a recruit is going to bail, I need to chill out? Come on...I have seen a lot worse on here.

I would hardly qualify any negativity as being from left field. You could argue some are overreacting to certain news and updates, but left field? No. Not unless you just returned from a coma.

I thought you were talking about my OP. Sorry if you took offense to that but it does get tiring hearing all the "sky is falling" negativity. As another poster mentioned (I think Cackalacky) we just won a game and looked really good...considering all the distractions of the academic issues...and the very next day several people start talking about all the recruits that are going to bail.

I was about to write about how we're very different from TCU, but after reading up on it, I'm surprised by the degree of similarity between the schools. Religious affiliation, about the same size, decent business school, football success. Of course, the weather is somewhat different as is the overall academic reputation, but TCU's no slouch.

He took his teammate/friend who is a TCU commit to the game according to ISD. Friend had no other transportation. McKinney lived less than an hour away. Nothing to see here other than hjm being a good friend.
