I'm just getting a picture of helmets in a bin. They look they same as I remember them. Is there supposed to be another picture?

The ones on the left are the new helmets. Look at the I on those decals and then at the I on the right picture.

Again, there is no left picture or right picture for me. I see one picture. It's helmets in a bin. The font on all of the ones in the bin look the same to me.

I don't know what to tell you if you don't see the picture on the right. Hmm, if you click on the picture of the helmets in a bin (while on Twitter) to bring up the photo gallery of the Twitter profile, you may click the right arrow to see the helmet with the old decal.

If anyone is confused, like I was last night, about the IRISH on the front of the helmet, definitely do a search on what a serif is haha. I didn't know what they were. For those that don't see a difference it is basically this: The letters, like I, now include serifs so the I has the line on top and at bottom with a little design on the edges as well. The I used to look like a single stroke I kind of like a lower case l as you can see.

I really hope I made sense.

These appear to me to be a Sans Serif font rather than Serif font. The "Irish" shown above lacks the little Serif lines.

I believe his picture really can be to blame for a lot of the confusion. I believe the helmet on the right that is Sans Serif is our helmet from last year, whereas the helmets on the left in the bin are our new helmets with the Serif. Unfortunately you must zoom in considerably in order to see the helmets in the bin.

I'll take your word for what you were able to see by zooming. The "IRISH" in the helmet photo on the right in the tweets is clearly Sans Serif.

Yeah, I went into twitter and blew the picture up on my computer. The new helmets in the bin definitely have the serif font on the decal.

EDIT: I would never know what is meant by serif/sans-serif if not for my copy editing and layout class for journalism. Page design woo!

Yeah, unless I'm completely off, I think it's pretty clear here: bin o' helmets = this year's helmet + serif font; single helmet = last year's helmet - serif. Minor detail, but enough to measure on the ND Nation Richter scale I would imagine. I personally wouldn't lose sleep over either one, but gun to my head- I'll take serif, so win?

Yeah but they also signed maybe the biggest contract in their history with a widely popular brand. I don't think they want to diminish their relationship with the university either.

Depends. I could see something being leaked to someone at one of hte services. Who in turn posted in a thread. You could link to that. No, I don't expect UA to have some press release stating such.

But at the same time your first hand knowledge could come from the hobo on your street corner, or it could be because you are a part of the UA ND marketing team. I don't know and no one here knows what your first hand knowledge means either.

I wonder if there is an issue with those right now.....Don't know but I hope they pull it out and give a little good PR for us during this shit.

maybe my post came across as an asshole. If so, my apologies. Just was trying to discuss as well and was interested if you had read somewhere or had more to the background to add.

I believe the tweet sent out by ND football had something over the under the lights helmets so I wasn't sure if they would only reveal portions of those uniforms or all of them.
