After week 1 here is how mine would look.
.) Georgia - Not that I think they are the best team in the country, but they earned it more than anybody based on performance.
.) Oregon - They always look good until they face a quality defense, should be interesting this week.
.) Michigan State - They will be a tough out. Should be a great game up in Eugene.
.) Oklahoma - They invariably lose some they shouldn't, but looked good in their opener.
.) Texas A&M - I thought South Carolina was a bit overrated, but they hammered them.
.) Stanford - They are going to be a tough out as well. Dominant performance.
.) USC - Man, they could be scary good. A lot of ND opponents really looked dangerous.
.) FSU - Didn't look that impressive, but they are still loaded with athletes. Doubt they will see many like that 24 from OK State.
.) Baylor - Didn't play yet, but they should be about right here until they prove otherwise.
.) Arizona St. - They looked pretty dominant. They have all sorts of weapons. Will be a tough game down there.
.) Notre Dame - Has already been discussed a ton here, but dominated a 10 win team from a year ago.
.) LSU - They were getting dominated, but then had a great fourth quarter. I think they will just get better with their young skill position players.
.) Auburn - They were getting beat on the line of scrimmage for a while, but they have a ton of weapons.
.) Alabama - If the SEC had some good QBs, Alabama could be in danger early. There aren't a ton of outstanding passing attacks in the SEC though.
.) Nebraska - They rolled in week 1. I think they will be pretty decent this year.
.) Ohio St. - Navy gave them fits, however, contrary to what ESPN always says, Navy is a tough out.
.) UCLA - their offense did not look good
.) Kansas State - I did not watch them at all, but they rolled.
.) Texas - I think Charlie will have them playing good ball.
.) Wisconsin - They looked great through three quarters.
.) South Carolina - There is no way you give up 52 at home and deserve to be ranked in the top 20. I don't think they should be ranked in the top 25, but they will be since they are in the SEC.
.) Ole Miss - Boise gave them a game for three quarters. I don't think they are as good as their rating.
.) Clemson - Looked ok for the first half. Second half they got dominated.
.) Louisville - Will be curious to watch how they look. This may be too low for them.
.) Michigan - They did what you are supposed to go against good high school teams. Their defense is really good though, and Funchess is a tough match up. I am not buying their running game yet, though.
