This kid seems all Notre Dame to me. I did not think Hayes was taking anymore visits?

Uh, he still has like 17 months before he signs his LOI. I'm sure he'll take plenty of visits before then.

You're right and I'm not really a Loy hater. He seems like a genuine guy, and I appreciate his eternal optimism.

Schrader on the other hand comes across as a douche. That assessment is mostly based on his allegiance, I will admit. (Doesn't make it wrong.)

Agreed.

It's in our best interest if he takes visits now instead of committing and then decommiting like many others have.

Sorry, what I meant to say was I thought he was not taking any other visits this summer.

all of these kids make comments partial to the repoters that are asking but the comments Daelin made struck me as profoundly heartfelt. Enough that the article about his ND feelings when he got his offer how many weeks ago was the last time I heard his name but his words stuck with me. I would stretch to say we have at least a slight lean.

Basically if Scott Scharader thinks he is going to USC. He won't end up at USC

We've seen that before.

Scott is a huge USC homer although at times he has the inside scoop with certain Cali kids but a kid from the Midwest, I'll trust Steve W. all day long over any other so-called analyst out there. Steve said he would be surprised if he left the Midwest and I'll trust that opinion over Scott any day

I am so jaded that I don't even count them as committed until at least their junior year.

Heck, I don't count them as committed until they show up on campus. We all know a LOI doesn't mean much to some, let alone a verbal.

Somebody posted this on the TV thread. It appears Scott is taking a pretty hard stance on this. He told an ND poster "you have no idea what is brewing."

IMO someone probably told Schrader that Hayes grew up a huge USC fan and would love to be a Trojan.

The fact that Scott believes a Midwest kid will commit to USC and hold it for 18 months troubles me

if this means anything but Schrader the clown just put in one for Michael Weber to USC. I dont care anything for USC or Michigan but i have never heard or read anything about Weber to USCUM. I have only heard about him to Michigan or the Spartans. He should be disbarred he must have had few too many.

I believe Weber will be there (SC) this weekend, instead of attending Hoke's BBQ eating contest.

per someone on the MB. Interesting info

The funny thing is his cousin Justice Hayes committed to ND but when ND didn't show him enough love on his recruiting trip he bolted to UM. Now Daelin Hayes wasn't even invited to Michigans BBQ, so I wonder if that pushes him more to ND. No way this was a mistake. Either Michigan did it intentionally because of the vibe they got from him after he returned from ND or they like other prospects better. I mean there are going to be players at this BBQ that would be lucky to get MAC offers and they suddenly forgot to invite the best player in Michigan to come after he was almost committed to them last fall. Something happened.

Another insider (not Hawkins' Dad but a guy that consistently posts on their board) on the USC 247 board thinks he'll be a Trojan.

They also don't trust Wiltfong since he was wrong, picked UM, (or in the end right) about Ty Isaac.

Wiltfong is the last person I would comment about being wrong, he has the best percentage on the website (if you dont count the people who only have like 10 crystal balls)

I think USC and ND are both neck and neck and Hayes is playing it that way. There's a reason two different staffs and media members feel so confident.

Im also so hesitant to get excited about this kid. This is Christian French all over again. Super athletic kid with limited reps on defense. Show me some legitimate film of him at LB before I'm genuinely interested.

Agree, When you have it split like that, the one thing you know is that half of them are wrong. Until Hayes brings some clarity, we'll be taking shots in the dark.

While I agree with that in most cases there are two things that I'll take away from camp settings and RB vs. LB reps. If either the LB has no chance or is completely dominating. Meaning if the LB is loosing by small margins there's not much that can be taken from that rep. Daelin was absolutely shutting down all and every RB at the recent rivals camp. He is close the the coverage ability that Jaylon had at similar stages. Also, he is by all accounts a workout machine with his focus on playing LB.
